[The bird is diving once again, and mind still hasn't been able to get used to the pain. That part gets reset each time this damn bird kills me! I don't know why but this dang animal seems to kill me no matter what. I even have an entire palace to avoid it in! That dang time mage must be having the time of his life now. Thinking he's all that I bet, well I-] My head ranting was cut off as the Eagle stopped right before it cut my head off with its wings of steel.
"Huh?" I stuttered as the animal backed away from me, as if it was confused on the subject of where it was.
"T#@s sh-%*=&e i$" I heard some odd noises from the vault down the hall and suddenly a light enveloped my vision and forced me unconscious.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I$ I! U&?" I heard some odd voice talking to the right of me. [How? It's definitely human but the chances of that are impossible!] I thought out as I decided to open my eyes to reveal to me a small group of what I could only assume to be humans or humanlike creatures.
"Who are you?" I asked them and was returned with some odd looks... [Now that's established it must be- no one even speaks my tongue anymore!]
"A# w$ a*& so!@$ b*t y*@ sh&@!d fo&+o# u$" One of the strangers spoke up and put their hand out for me to grab. I decided to trust these people until more information is gained so I grabbed their hand and they pulled me up so I could truly see the debilitated halls of the palace around ourselves. I started to wonder how long it had been until I thought [Why does my vision not change if I close my left eye?]
"Shit..." I said aloud, knowing they wouldn't understand what I said. I wasn't able to learn more about what happened to me before they motioned for me to follow them, I did as the showed and followed them out of the palace to see the state of my city turned to ruins. Though once again my viewing time was cut short as they took me to a recognizable thing in the group. Some horses attached to a wagon, soon after one of the men in the group picked me up and placed me in the wagon. They then became a coachman and started the movement of the animals as the rest of the group hopped in.
"Le%$ g^" One of them said happily as they would finally be able to leave the crumbling ruins this time. But something odd happened right as we were to leave the city. A large group of cloaked men surrounded us. Seeing the ambush, the others stood up and got into battle ready positions. I tried my best at decifering what they were saying. [They were gained by us so they will stay as ours] Yeah, even if that's false I'm not trusting these people who are definitely speaking a language which is derived from the damn tongue I heard the invaders talk with.
"Seeya!" I whispered as I cloaked myself with the one spell I know how to perform.

With me being able to hide for around 100 seconds as I estimate for how long my power would allow I shifted into a total sprint away from the fighters through the nearby forest. It will be much harder to find me if I escape through the trees.

After the time limit wore off I kept running until I knew I was a long ways away. I only stopped once I reached a large plain bordering the sea which seemed to have one main attribute located in a central location. "A seed?"
