Chapter 10 - His Kingdom

"This really shows that we are in vampire territory" Nesrin whispered into the ears of the centaur, the centaur was quite agitated with her words.

"Where you not the one that requested to come here?" he bellowed under his breath as he walked slowly through the part that would take them to a castle.

Nesrin looked above her and saw the dark blood-red sky, and shivered, she didn't like the fact that she would be living under the same sky as the man she was to kill. How would she cope?

Would they even let her in?

"You can drop me here, I will go on alone," she said as she made the centaur stop, she hopped off him and stood in front of him.

"Are you sure you can go in alone?" he cocked his brows, he didn't feel comfortable in this area at all, so considered the fact that she wants to go alone.

"I am Nesrin, and I am the princess of the human kingdom, my father sent me on a mission to the King of Vampires" since she had gone this far to be acquainted with this centaur, she had to be truthful to him.

"Are you sure you can do this?" he asked in a confused tone and received a soft nod in them.

"Believe me I have support," she said and waved her hand making roots shoot up.

Chiron was happy that she had her own powers and she could make use of them to protect herself, he took a horn out of his Animal skin bag and gave it to Nesrin, he received a confused expression from her.

"This is how we communicate, if you want my help in anything, I would bring a horde of my best people, to bring you out of danger" he beat his chest proudly as she collected the horn.

"Am I really that worth it?" she asked with the softest tone she could muster, her tone was melodious but strong.

"You are worth more than that," he said before turning to the part ahead.

"Thanks, Chiron" she tiptoed and kissed the cheek of the creature that was very kind to her.

Chiron was stunned and he felt his body get heated up by her actions, he cleared his throat out of been flustered and smiled at her, foolishly.

"I believe it is time for you to go," he said as he saw the path was becoming eerier with every passing moment.

"Bye," she waved at him before turning her head to face the path.

Chiron stayed there till he couldn't see her again and left the place.

Nesrin stood at the entrance of a huge castle with guards looking at her with both hunger and anger, she was about to walk into the castle through the gates when a guard stopped her.

"How dare you! You think this is a place where you can easily come in" The guard stood imposingly before she bared his canine.

"I am here to see the king, now get out of my way," she said trying to dismiss the guard but he didn't budge, he thought she was a meanie human who could do nothing to him so he stood his ground with a smug smile perched on his lips.

"Oh so you don't want to get out of my way!" she grinned eerily send shivers down her body, wasn't she a mere human why was she giving this sort of eerily feeling.

Then as the guard stood he felt his blood stop all of a sudden, and widen his eyes in horror at her, before dropping to do the floor, his other guards rushed to him.

"What did you do to him you meanie human?" one of the vampires glared at her while still checking his fellow guard, the other one stood up and approached her.

"What you want worst I can give you that" she sneered she was about to leash out her anger on this vampire when someone interrupted her.

"Enough!!!" A man in a higher rank came in and bellowed to the other vampire.

"Why should I stop look what she did to our men!!" he persistently argued as he grabbed Nesrin hands tightly threatening to break them if she does anything

"She comes to see the king, do you dare object to the king's order to let her in" the Man spoke in derision, the guard tightened his grip on her arm making one of the bones snap.

When Nesrin felt the intense pain in her hand she totally flipped out, her eyes were now glaring at a fire, as she concentrated her eyes on his hand, on cue his entire hand caught on fire.

"YOU WANT DEATH!!" she had been taken things with them but now with one of her wrists broken she had lost total control of her pour, she lashed out at the panicked Guard who tried to look for water.

The other man who came to get her smirked after seeing his men writhing in pain trying to put out the fire that strangely didn't go out.

"Don't worry the fire would go out after am out of here and his annoying friend would be back" she approached the man, and he led her out of the scene.

This Castle was definitely fit to be called Vampire lair, as everything was eerie, but when she stepped into a throne room she was greeted with that face she met in the wood.

"Allerick"
