"That's in the past now, only I know now is that you are safe, you must be hungry my dear child!" she caressed Nesrin's cheek, and Nesrin leaned into her touch because this woman made her feel peace and love
"Dinner would be served at the break of dawn," Dederick said as he lifted his chin up and left the room for the two ladies, and that was when she remembered that she had not eaten, right now she missed her modern life, no watches here, no cellphones, no technology, no fancy clothes only wearing a royal dress every day...f***k.
"I can hear the sound of your stomach, don't worry it's almost dawn" Nesrin was deep in thought so she didn't hear the rumble of her stomach not until the sweet voice of her mother was heard, even if it's strange calling her mother now, she just had to, her new life is here and she had to accept her faith, she grinned widely.
ONE YEAR LATER
"What are you doing your highness?" Lara with her friendly tone spoke beside Nesrin immediately she stepped in, Nesrin had already gotten used to the young lady vibrant nature and she didn't even flinch, staying in this jail cell for one year had taught her many things, one was that she was revealed the be the Angel of Nature which she found was very ridiculous as she was far from being an Angel.
************some months ago********************
Nesrin was thinking of what to do to go back to her life when she saw the sudden appearance of a rose from where her hand was before she jumped and immediately went out of the room, she went straight to the throne room and Found Dederick.
"What is it Nesrin?" Dederick lazily asked her he was solving some problem that had been going on around their kingdom with his Duke when she walked in with a troubled expression as she was pacing her up and down.
"I saw something!" she stopped and stared at the kingdom waiting for a response, then the King sighed ad sent his officials out, as she was irritated she sighed and waved her fingers and then Rose flowers appeared blooming on a wooden floor, she was frightened she clasped her palms, the other officials seeing the situation was dumbstruck as they stood and look at the roses on the floor, and then diverted their eyes to their king he quickly sent them away.
"You don't know yet?" Dederick slowly descended his throne, with a hand behind his back, his expression blank as always.
"What am I supposed to know?" she barked at him, and glared at him, her hair danced wildly when she approached him, he didn't like the way she behaved.
"You are the Angel of Nature but actually a rare flower, a rose if may say" Nesrin was surprised she thought it was just small magic, why does life have to be like this for her she whined.
"Say what now?" she didn't want to listen to that but as he repeated it again and also explained she had to digest it in.
She paced up and down the room.
"Accept what life throws at you Nesrin" he grinned as pure excitement danced in his wicked eyes, he liked seeing in this state.
"Don't talk like that old man, when Daniel dumped I accepted it, do you expect me to accept living my life with powers I have NO CONTROL OF" she was talking with pure emotion that she didn't realize how much she had spoken.
"Don't talk to me like that little girl" he bit back at her comments, as his nose kept flaring meaning he was madly enraged, which Nesrin couldn't care less about it, she walked towards him as her feet stomped on the floor.
"How do I control old man" she was staring at him eye ball to eye ball, with no ounce of fear nor respect, just because basically she needs answers.
Just then roots shot of the ground and began coiling around Dederick as Nesrin's patience was limited, it was because of that she quitted her last jobs before they could even pay her, and now she was in this messed up world and now of powers, what's the next scene.
Nesrin was aware of the roots that coiled around Dederick but didn't care about that as her rage clouded her own thoughts.
"Would you calm down first? Get this thing of me, lady" he dropped all formalities as he continued to glare down at her, fear was palpable in his eyes, he had never seen his daughter this angry not because the person in front of him was actually not his daughter.
Nesrin finally relaxed as she turned her back to face him, as the roots soon disappeared making Dederick to pant, if the duke was here he would be stunned silly.
"You just controlled your power….. it works together with your mind" Dederick straightened his stance and walked back to his throne to rest his tired body.
"So you mean, if I want to make a rose I just think about it and it works?" she turned her body to face him again, her violet eyes skimmed her surrounded and lander on a small flowery pot, "this should prove what you are saying" she shot him a warning glare making him to squint his eyes dangerously at her.
She flayed her fingers in a beckoning gesture and then beautiful roses appeared in the flower pot she grinned widely, she liked it.
"Maybe my name should be called poison ivy" she laughed when she said that, but that only confused Dederick more, he sighed exasperatedly as he saw Nesrin didn't even say goodbye as she walked out of his throne room.
-------------End of flashback------------------------
"What are you doing your highness?" The young lady asked again as she didn't receive an answer from Nesrin.
Nesrin cocked her brows then turned to look at Adair, which was the young lady name, "I am trying to keep myself busy sweetheart" she made her voice the most sweetest tone, making Adair blush, Nesrin pulled another thread, one of the thing she learned was Embroidery instead of actually having a machine do this work you have to use your hand, Nesrin found it annoying.
"Your highness, the King asks me to call you" Nesrin frowned when she heard that, what did he want now, she didn't like it when he called her, she actually liked the old man and her supposed mother as they have been caring to her all this while.
"What's the purpose of his call?" Nesrin lifted Adair's chin when the girls face was so close to her, and she always blushed when Nesrin did that.
"He didn't say but I can report that they are other people in the throne room" she gushed before retracting her face from Nesrin's grasp, making Nesrin to roll her eyes.
