Come another morning, the summer sun crept over all of Asahi in a blistering heat that made everyone long for the cool evening skies.
"Lady Hina"
"Lady Hina?"
Hina rose in the late morning, her eyes fluttering open to Suki's voice that jarred her from her sleep.
"It seems yesterday's outing took a toll on you, my lady" Suki offered with a worried expression, setting down a small tray of breakfast as she poured her a warm cup of some hojicha tea.
"It seems so" Hina mumbled
"you've must've been really fatigued. You slept through breakfast even" Suki informed her as she got out of bed, slipping her feet into a pair of flip-flops as she padded for the couch to have her breakfast.
"Also, lady Tanaka says to remind you about the visit to the temple" Suki said, the torrent of last night's memories now washing over Hina as she recalled them.
Late last night, Tanaka had come to see her in her chambers to ask for a peculiar favour.
