Since the doctor's visit to the estate, everyone at the Kudo house had been treating Hina like she was some precious egg that would fall and break if she moved a muscle. The doctor had personally delivered the prescribed medication to Hina the following morning with a written instruction attached to it, stressing how she needed to get much rest and restrain from any tasking or stress-inducing activity. That morning was when it all began.
Since then, Hina would spend most of her breakfasts in bed, with a freshly brewed cup of tea by the side and took all her medicines under strict supervision by Suki.
"You have to make sure that you don't skip any of your drugs, lady Hina. It's for your own good" Suki would say whenever Hina frowned at the bunch of bitter pills that now felt like a punishment.
