Daddy ordered the knights as he carried me in his arms and started to run towards the carriage. He dropped me inside the carriage and warned us to not leave at any cost as he ran and took out his sword.
Knox and Grandpa Flyn also joined him.
"What's happening?" Mommy asked worriedly while looking out of the carriage.
"Mommy, I'm scared," Shane said as he started crying.
Mommy hugged him whereas I was just looking out of the carriage which was surrounded by knights, to get a hold what's happening.
Shit! I'm late! I should have been quicker! I saw a few figures on the top of the mountain when I was looking for the carriage, but I thought it could have been an illusion, so stupid of me! Right now isn't the time for this! I have to look for a way for everybody to be safe.
I thought while trying to look beyond the soldiers who were fully covering the carriage, making it difficult to see.
