The moment the team had been formed Finral had been quick to open the portal near to where the dungeon had been; the team, consisting of Asta, Noelle, Feodora, Karasu, Brenin, Prism, Yukiko and leading them Luck had stepped through without hesitation. When they stepped through they found themselves in an open field as they had been underneath a tree. It had been spacious as they had a clear view of the forest ahead, as they had been standing on top of a hill.
"Whoa--" Asta said in awe, "--This place is huge!"
"This place definitely reminds me of home." Karasu commented.
Finral soon came peeking through as well as Charmy as they both couldn't help but admire the view. "The sunset is beautiful here." Finral commented, "I recommend this location for dates."
"I'll pass on that womanizer." Feodora said as she flipped him off, making Finral flinch.
"I'll have some nummies ready for when you get back!" Charmy said as she had been eating a plate of cake.
"Thanks Charmy--" Prism said before coughing, "--We'd really appreciate it."
Pluck held on to Addeline as he said, "as long as you don't eat my partner!"
"QUACK!" Addeline said with a huff
"Language." Brenin told her making Addeline freeze up.
Yami soon came peeking through the portal, "Alright we're counting on you. And Sword Boy--Don't mother hen the Lizard Girl here and--NO KILLING YOUR SQUADMATE."
Pluck said with a nervous laugh, "Right. Of course."
Yukiko added as she turned to Noelle, "And that means no arguments from you two"
"Ye-Yes ma'am!" Noelle said.
Pluck said with a nod, "O-of course."
"Take care of Adrien while I'm gone." Prism said to Yami.
Yami gave her a pat on the head before telling her, "Yeah yeah. And take care of yourself. Remember, no going to the extreme."
Prism nodded as Yami went back through with Finral and Charmy; the portal soon closed as it had been just them now. "Let's get moving--" Brenin said, "--The sooner we get to Saorise and Liam, the sooner we can bring them back home."
"My thoughts exactly--" Yukiko said, "--Follow me."
The group soon started to follow behind Yukiko as they entered the forest that just laid at the bottom. Nearly an hour had passed as the trees started to get thicker and thicker, making the rays of the sun nearly impossible for it to come through. As they did, Feodora, Noelle and Karasu lagged behind the group as they were eying Prism in particular as she had been walking beside Asta who had the Little Miss or Nero sitting on his head. Though he didn't notice it they saw Prism's body had been shaking slightly as she had walked. Even some of the little spirits looked a little off as they shifted colors.
"This is exactly the kind of thing I was concerned about." Karasu said, "Her out in the field with a fever is going to put her at high risk."
"We can't exactly do anything about it now--" Feodora said, "--Not with the Stuck Up and Asta here."
"But this is something we can't keep forever, you know?" Noelle said, "I mean, you realize that they're going to notice something's off."
"You don't think we know that?" Feodora said, "If something ends up going wrong it could mean the end of Prism's life. And there's no way in hell I'm gonna let that happen."
"And from what I've seen the tater-tot is just as stubborn as the shorty over there." Karasu said, "I'll admit it's good qualities as a Princess--But her own health is in danger. It's going to get worse if she's out here or injured."
"Then we better make efforts so that she's still breathing when we get back."
Feodora, Karasu, and Noelle jumped when they saw Brenin had been behind them; his long tail swayed back and forth like that of a wind chime. "I was wondering why Prism was feeling off today--" Brenin said, "--I guess that answers my question."
Feodora, Karasu and Noelle looked just plain shocked at Brenin which he had been quick to notice. "What?" Brenin said, "You thought my title of a Familiar was just for show?"
"How did you even know something like that?" Karasu asked.
"It's because we're linked mentally in a way, not just through our souls and fate." Brenin replied, "As a Familiar myself and the others are able to feel somethings wrong with our bearer--This case being Prism."
"Y-you're not gonna tell the others are you?" Noelle asked.
"No." Brenin said, shocking them, "As much as I want to, I know that's not what Prism would want. She wouldn't want the others to worry about her when they're out on missions and what not. And plus--" He soon glared over at Pluck as he had gotten a sudden chill, "--I don't like Pluck around her all the time."
"You don't?" Feodora asked, shocked.
Brenin nodded, "I get that he's her first best friend and all, but it really annoyed me when he was hovering over her all day long. Especially when she caught a cold when we were kids."
"Huh, I can understand that." Noelle said. "I hate it when Barbados is constantly watching over the princess like a hawk."
"Exactly!" Brenin said, "It makes me want to bite him." He turned to Addeline as he added, "if it weren't for a certain duck in my way."
Adeline turned as she glared before she motioned that he was watching him, "quack..."
"So you really won't say a word about it?" Karasu asked.
"Only for a little while--" Brenin said, "--But if her fever does start to get worse, I'll have to say something to Yuki, agreed?"
"That's understandable." Feodora said as she nodded in understanding, "Until then, we'll have to be the ones to keep her from doing anything drastic."
"Right." Karasu said, "Easier said then done."
"I'll be new to my grimoire--" Brenin said, "--But I'll do my best."
Noelle soon looked nervous as she replied, "Ye-Yeah."
"Hey uh, quick question--" They soon heard Asta say, "--Not that I have a problem with walking or anything, but how come Finral didn't transport us right in front of the dungeon?"
"Because Pluck needs the exercise." Yukiko replied rather quickly.
Pluck looked embarrassed as he shouted in denial, "I'm perfectly fit! I don't need it!"
"Son--I was joking." Yukiko told him.
Pluck turned even redder as he laughed sheepishly before he said, "oh right sorry."
"So honesty means he can't take jokes either?" Feodora said, "How do you even live Stuck-Up?"
"Shut up." Pluck said with a pout.
"Finral is only able to go to places he's been to before." Luck soon explained, as he hopped over a log, "Though thankfully it was still near the dungeon!"
Most of the group couldn't help but wonder what he meant, until they looked over the log; there they saw there had been a stone entrance as they could see a couple of old towers and buildings just above it as it put most of them in awe; Pluck especially as he immediately pulled out his sketchbook and started to draw it.
"That's really it?" Asta said, surprised.
"Brenin--" Prism said as she coughed a little, while the light lemur sat on her shoulder "--Is this really the place?"
"Yeah." Brenin replied with a nod, "I recognize the structure ."
"Shorty, Mutt, your wrists--!" Feodora exclaimed as she noticed something on them.
Prism and Brenin looked and saw the holly branch appeared faintly as did the rest of the group; though this time they appeared in a color of a sapphire blue and golden vines as it glowed dimly before it vanished.
"It was just like before, but--They're not red?" Asta said, confused.
"Wait, it was red before?" Karasu asked, "Then is there something wrong with it?"
"No, it's perfectly fine." Yukiko replied, "When the one who is bonded is near their Familiar, the holly branch that helped bond to them will show the color of something that is natural to them. In this case, it's the color of their hair."
"Their hair?" Noelle asked curiously.
Pluck added, "yeah like for Brenin it'll glow red. If it's glowing those two that means we might run into both Saorise and Liam."
"Why their hair?" Asta asked.
"Back in the early days of magic, it was said that mages used their strands of hair to help power their staffs or wands." Yukiko briefly explained, "Since magic is considered a natural element, it's only logical that they needed something natural to them."
"Wow, I didn't even realize it worked that way!" Asta said, in awe.
Pluck said with a nod, "Magic works in mysterious ways."
"Uh--" Feodora said, getting the group's attention, "--Guys?"
The group turned only to find that a certain set of people were missing. Feodora soon pointed towards the entrance as they saw Prism along with Brenin had headed inside.
"THEY WENT IN WITHOUT US?!" Asta exclaimed.
"Well--Have you met her Dum-Dum?" Feodora pointed out.
"OH THAT DUMMY GIRL!" Pluck shouted.
"IT'S DARK IN THERE! THEY'LL HURT THEMSELVES!!" Asta soon yelled before he dashed inside.
"WAIT DORKSTA!" Noelle shouted though it had been a bit too late to stop him as he ran inside with a lantern in hand, "So-So fast…"
"Come on, let's head in!" Luck said as he dragged Pluck in; Pluck couldn't help but struggle as he shouted while Luck ran with him, "HEY I CAN RUN BY MYSELF!"
"QUACK!" Addeline shouted as she ran ahead.
"ADDELINE!" Yukiko exclaimed as she tried to stop her but she ran ahead.
Feodora couldn't help but roll her eyes before she stood, "Alright, I guess we're doing this now."
"Seems so--" Karasu said, though he couldn't help but wonder, "--Hey, any idea why Nero came with?"
Feodora only gave a look before she shrugged, "Maybe she's like the lizard in a way. Let's go Drama Llama."
Noelle just stood there completely red as she had been taken back by Asta's reaction to Prism and Brenin taking off first. "H-How! Why is he running--How--"
Feodora simply took her as she said, as she started to drag her while Karasu followed behind, "Come on. Save the 20 questions for later."
***
The hall had been dark and mostly pitch black as Prism and Brenin had stepped through; Prism couldn't even see her hand as her eyes had trouble adjusting. Thankfully Brenin had a firm grip on her hand so she had no way of getting herself lost or tripping. Brenin had helped her lead the way, occasionally telling her to watch her footing. And the little light lemur had glowed like that of a candle to comfort her from the dark.
A couple of fire spirits had crawled up on the ceiling as they kindly waited for Prism, before they started to move forward again.
"If my memory's right, we should be coming up to a passage right about now." Brenin said to her, "Once we find that, I should be able to pick up Liam or Saorise's scent."
"Yeah…" Prism said drowsingly as she rubbed her eyes.
She could feel her head throb as her vision started to blur; she didn't even realize she was falling until Brenin caught her.
"Prism--" Brenin said with worry, "--Are you okay?"
Prism nodded as she coughed, "... I… I guess I must've tripped…"
Brenin's expression softened as he couldn't help but sigh, "Prism… You don't have to hide it from me. I know you're sick."
Prism couldn't help but laugh sheepishly at this, "... Yeah… I know…"
He soon said, "--It doesn't hurt to say you're not feeling well. I can help them from here, and we can have Finral--"
"I know what you're going to say…" She soon said cutting him off, "... And… I'm sorry, but… I can't do that."
"You know how you are when it comes to cold. Your body can't handle it if you keep pushing yourself."
He soon felt her hand shake as he could see she looked like she was about to cry. "... I don't remember what I was doing in that storm, but--" She couldn't help but sniffle, "--It doesn't change the fact that I left you all behind--For five HUNDRED years I left you. I didn't mean to do it, but…"
"I may not have known exactly what happened to you, but I know it wasn't your fault." He reassured her, "Liam and Saorise, your parents--They know that too. And I'm sure up there in the Heavens--Licht and the others your Uncle and Aunt knows it."
"But--I hurt all of you when I disappeared. I don't even know what it was that happened to me, or where I had gotten these scars…"
"Prism, we know that wasn't your fault. And for the record, we're not sure what it was that happened to you either. All that mattered to us was that you're safe and alive. We knew that one day you would come back to us and you did. If it wasn't for Asta, Feodora and Yuno, who knows how much longer you would've been in there."
Prism couldn't help but groan, though he could tell it wasn't from a headache. "It's bad enough I go disappearing for five hundred years, but--I'm at a loss on everything else!" She said, "It's just been a struggle for me to catch up on History for Mr. Nozel and not to mention Mr. Guldere is barely present for those other lessons. Everyone expects me to be a leader of a country! That's like the equivalent of--"
"--Learning how to use a scythe?"
"Exactly!"
He soon raised his eyebrow as he couldn't help but have a thought, "... Have you--Told any of these problems to that human--Yami was it?
"I would but--" She said nervously before she coughed again, "--I can't exactly say with Pluck listening like a bat half the time. I don't want to kill him with worry."
Brenin huffed as he nodded in understanding before he had another thought, "I know I've only known him for a few days but--Is it strange that Yami kind of reminds me of your dad?"
"Right?" She said before coughing again, "That's not just me."
"PRI! BRENIN!"
The two of them were taken back when they heard the sound of Asta's; they saw him running down the hall as the lantern had been lit. He soon stopped to catch his breath soon after he stopped in front of them. "Oh he--" Prism said before regaining her posture, "--Hey Asta."
"I finally caught up--" Asta said, "--You guys shouldn't really run off like that so suddenly!"
"Oh I'm sorry--" She said, "--I thought you guys were right behind us."
"You bought a lantern on this trip?" Brenin asked.
"Well yeah--" Asta replied, "--You said the dungeons were pitch black right?"
"Yeah but dungeons are normally--"
"Wait--" Prism soon said to Brenin after she took a look around the hall, "--You said the entry was somewhere around here right?"
Brenin and Asta looked a bit confused as they looked at her question. "Yeah--Why?" Brenin replied as he still sounded confused, before they soon noticed the spirits around them soon got rid of their glow. "Asta--" She said as she tugged on his jacket a little, "--Would you mind putting out the lantern?"
"Uh--Okay?" Asta said before he opened it. Just as he went to blow out the candle in the lantern--
"LUCK! LET ME GO!"
"No way, this is fun!"
Just as Asta blew out the light, they could hear the sound of tumbling and not to mention a familiar set of shrieks as well as the sound of Luck laughing. They could hear Pluck shout in the dark, "ACK! WHAT THE HELL DID I LAND ON?! WHY DOES IT FEEL SOFT?!"
"OW, WHO JUST HIT ME!?" They heard Noelle yell. "WHY DOES IT SMELL NICE?!"
"Hey, who turned out the lights?" They heard Feodora say.
"Hey Prism--" They heard Yukiko say, "--Would you mind telling us why you put the light out?"
Prism soon spotted what looked to be light in between the cracks of a brick. Prism tried to reach for it, but couldn't quick reach it. "Hang on, I got it." Luck said as he pushed the brick inward; the minute he did the wall soon collapsed as they were taken back by a sight. None of the corridors hadn't been dark or pitch black but rather, there were spheres of light illuminating everything; they could see broken ruins and streams of fresh water running through as most couldn't help but be amazed--All Except Brenin.
"Everyone--" Yukiko said, "--Welcome to your first Dungeon."
"Wow… It's huge!" Asta exclaimed as his eyes sparkled.
Karasu soon noticed a sight beside him as he had been taken back. He saw that Noelle had been on top of Pluck as they had been distracted by the blinding light.
"Uh--" Karasu said, getting their attention, "--Should we leave you two alone or something?"
They were confused until they realized the kind of position they were in; their faces were soon flushed with red as they scrambled off each other with a shriek.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" Pluck shouted "YOU PERVERTED WEIRDO! WHY WERE YOU ON TOP OF ME?!"
"I'M A PERVERT!?" Noelle yelled, "YOU'RE THE ONE THAT ALMOST TOUCHED MY CHEST JUST NOW, YOU STUPID BARBADOS!"
"WELL I'M NOT THE ONE WHO STARTED TO BREATHE HEAVY ON MY CHEST YOU STUPID SILVA!"
"EXCUSE YOU! HOW DO I KNOW YOU DIDN'T TOUCH MY BEHIND?!"
"AS IF I'LL DO THAT TO A LADY ESPECALLY IF SHE'S A STUPID SILVA!"
"Oh that's it!" Noelle said as she got her grimoire, "I don't care if you're the princess' long time best friend! You'll take it back right now!"
"WHY SHOULD I?!" Pluck shouted as he got his sword of his own. "I'M NOT THE ONE WHO STARTED TO SNIFF ME!"
"WHERE DID YOU GET THAT IDEA YOU DISGUSTING PIG!?"
"YOU! I HEARD SNIFFING YOU VULGAR WORM!"
"SAYS YOU, STUPID BARBADOS!"
"SCREW YOU, YOU OTUUK FE`SAIGN TÁD-NÍF FILTHUI EGOTTI TRAAKO NIF HAAKU XHAN!!"
Soon a thundercloud appeared on both of them as it struck them down making them freeze and pale. Yukiko had told them with fire in her eyes, "What part of DO NOT argue do you two not get?" She turned to Pluck as she said "and YOU, what did i tell you about using THOSE words to anyone! Even if it's a lady?!"
Pluck said as he shook, "N-Never say those words again."
Yukiko added, "Honestly, the last time I heard those when you cursed out Nebra! You know how much paperwork your father and I had to sign?" She turned to Noelle making her jump "As for you Young Lady! No More outbursts! We're in a dungeon and the last thing you want to do is put your teammates in danger! Understand?!"
"Y-Yes -Ma'am." Noelle said.
Pluck turned to her shaking as he could only think,"Spineless.."
Prism looked as she asked Brenin, "Huh? What happened? I can't hear."
"You don't want to know." Brenin said as his hands had been over her ears.
Karasua just started before he asked Yukiko, "Should I--Actually no, I rather not."
"Still--" Asta soon said as he looked around, noticing that most of the places had been warped as he could see staircases had been upside down, "--What the heck is going on here?!"
"Yeah there are stairs on the ceiling." Feodora said.
"Everything you see around you is warped by magic." Brenin said, "It's most likely by the ones who built this place."
"Is every dungeon like this?" Feodora asked.
"Oh yeah it is!" Luck said.
"Can you smell them?" Prism asked.
Brenin motioned her to wait before he started to sniff the air. "It's faint--" Brenin said as he started to sniff again, "--But it seemed like they were here not too long ago."
Luck suddenly shivered as it made most of them jump. "Oooh~!" Luck said, "There's even stronger mana floating in here then outside!"
"That would be from the mana too." Brenin said before he realized something, "Oh yeah--There's something you have to know about Liam in particular."
"Huh--What's that?" Asta asked.
"Well--How can I put this delicately…?" Brenin said as he was trying to ponder.
"... Unless you're my dad and his side of the family, or Uncle Cad and his side of the family, or even a part of our village--" Prism soon said, "--He REALLY doesn't like humans. So--He might try and kill you."
Most of the group did a double take at this as Asta's jaw dropped. "KILL US!?" Asta exclaimed.
"Hold on--We're supposed to be saving the guy, and he's gonna try and murder us?" Feodora asked, "Well that's just damn peachy."
"Why would he want to do that?" Karasu asked.
Prism soon started to answer after she let out a cough, "You know how--I found them with no names and they couldn't remember which tribe they were a part of?"
"Yeah… Why?" Asta asked.
"Well--They were taken from their parents when they were babies." Prism replied, "Most of their life, they were part of an attraction. I think you'd call it a circus."
Asta, Feodora, Karasu and Noelle couldn't help but look shocked at this as they turned to Brenin. "It's true--" Brenin said, "--It's part of the reason why there are so few of us left. The man that kidnapped us was horrible to us and when we didn't perform the tricks he wanted us to do, he'd hit us with magic."
"Eh?!" Asta exclaimed, "That's awful!"
"It was--" Brenin said, "--Prism stumbled upon us when we were near our village. The man that kept us was going to sell us off in the Clover Kingdom. She picked the lock and by the time he found out we were gone, we were already within Airedale's borders. Since then, Liam was always iffy around new people, especially humans. He even tried to kill Pluck--Occasionally."
Pluck couldn't help but say annoyed, "Yeah emphasis on--OCCASIONALLY."
"Quack!" Addeline was with a huff.
"To be fair son, he did ease it up over the years." Yukiko said, patting him on the shoulder.
Pluck said to his mother with a huff, "That's an understatement. Thank God Addi had my back at times."
"Quack!" Addeline said with pride.
"Wow, she's really reliable huh?" Asta asked.
"No one likes her." Pluck told him
"What he did." Yukiko said, "He stopped using his antlers."
"Did you just say antlers?!" Asta exclaimed out of confusion.
"I wanna fight him!" Luck said.
"NO!" Brenin and even Pluck yelled.
"Trust me you DON'T want to pick a fight with Liam!" Brenin said, "He's more of a junkie then you, when he wants to be!"
Pluck added, "You're asking for a death wish at this point."
"That just makes me want to fight him more!" Luck said.
"WHAT PART OF NO DON'T YOU GET!?" Pluck and Brenin yelled.
"Wait, why tell us this in the first place?" Feodora asked.
"It's just in case we get separated and you find him before us." Brenin said, "We'd rather not have him accidentally kill you because of a misunderstanding. That nearly happened before when he met one of Cadfan's siblings."
"But how are we supposed to let him know we're trying to rescue him?" Noelle asked.
"Simple--" Prism said before she coughed, "--All you have to do is ask him about me. When you use my full name, he'll get the message."
"Okay then--" Karasu said, "--What about this Saorise person? She iffy around us humans too?"
"Oh no--" Prism replied with a wave of her hand, "--She's friendly." She soon hissed through her teeth before she added, "She's just A LOT to handle."
"TOO overbearing," Pluck said with a groan.
"What does that mean?" Feodora asked.
"You'll know when you meet her." Prism, Brenin and Pluck said in unison, surprising them.
"Well there's no time to lose--!" Asta said before he went to step forward, "--Let's go and find them!"
"WAIT ASTA DON'T--!" Brenin started to yell.
Just as this was said, Asta stepped into a magic circle that glowed as a set of rocks started to form as a wall; it would've hit him underneath his chin, though Prism had been quick to pull him out of the way. Asta soon got his grimoire and pulled out his sword before he sliced it away.
"Are you okay?" Prism asked.
"Yeah--" Asta replied, "--Phew man, that was close!"
"That was amazing!" Luck said with a clap as he laughed.
"WHY ARE YOU LAUGHING?!" Noelle yelled.
"You have got to be more careful!" Yukiko said, "A dungeon is filled with traps!"
"Ah--" Feodora said, "There's another one."
The moment Feodora had pointed it out, Luck suddenly hopped over to it as he stepped in it on purpose. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Most of them yelled as the trap activated, creating a fire tornado. Most of them couldn't help but shriek, as Karasu was quick to get out his sword and his grimoire glowed.
"JINX MAGIC: CRACKBACK SLASH!!"
A familiar purple beam emitted from his sword as he took a swing; the moment it hit the fire tornado broke apart. Though after it did Luck landed on another this time a tornado of water formed making them shriek again. This time Pluck got out his grimoire as he activated a spell.
Pluck shouted, "SWORD CREATION MAGIC, FUYUGANE!" Out of his grimoire, Pluck got out a sword with a handle of cyan-frost blue with a handle, the blade incase is a crystal ice with a curve as it glistened before Pluck let out a warcry and hit the water tornado as it froze in place; they all breathed a sigh of relief.
"And another one!" Luck said landing in another one before he hopped away. They shrieked at the sight of another fire tornado.
"LUCK SERIOUSLY?!" Pluck shouted.
"ICE MAGIC LION'S ROAR!" Feodora yelled as her grimoire glowed; two sets of blue beams shot out of a set of lions heads as Luck laughed when he landed in another one. This time they all breathed a sigh of relief as Luck finally landed, not on another trap this time.
"This is SO much fun!" Luck said.
Everyone couldn't help but give Luck a look as some of them were traumatized. "He's--Gonna be the death of us." Feodora said, just as her magic dispelled.
"Why is he leading this mission again?" Karasu asked.
"I think Yami made a mistake." Pluck said.
"I think those smokes are getting to his brain.." Yukiko said as she shook her head.
Prism couldn't help but groan again as it shocked them, "There's no time for this!" And just like that she had shocked them all when she ran ahead.
"Prism, wait!" Asta exclaimed as he ran after her along with Brenin.
"Damn it--Hey!" Feodora called it as she ran after her.
"Get back here Tater Tot!" Karasu shouted.
Pluck's head began to form a vein as he said, "That stupid---Oi! DUMMY! ARE YOU TRYING TO GET YOURSELF KILLED?!" He ran ahead--or so it would've happened, were it not for his mother as she was quick to stop him. "MA! I wasn't gonna mother hen her!"
"No, you were about to punish her." Yukiko said, "And that's just as bad."
Pluck had stammered as he had struggled for a retort, "B-But--!"
"Sorry Yukiko--But I'm gonna go on ahead!" Luck said, "I'm already at my limit and there's someone strong nearby!"
"Wait what?!" Yukiko exclaimed.
Suddenly a set of boots made from lighting formed on his feet, and she, Noelle and Pluck were taken back when he took off suddenly when he dashed down the halls before anyone could stop him.
"Wha-WHAT IN THE WORLD IS HE THINKING?!" Noelle exclaimed.
"DAMN IT LUCK!" Yukiko yelled.
Prism had been running up the stairs trying to get to the next entrance as she had ignored the blurry vision and the dizziness. She could feel her breathing had become labored and the migraine in her head started to become worse--She had been so preoccupied that she didn't notice that Asta had been calling out to her.
"Prism!" Asta yelled, "Prism, just wait a second! We have to stay together in a place like this!"
"But Liam and Saorise might be nearby!" Prism called out, "I HAVE to find them!"
"You're not gonna do anything by running ahead blindly!" Feodora told her, "Just stop for two seconds and we can go over this together!"
"But--" Prism started to say, though she didn't notice the kind of trap that had been in front of her. Brenin seemed to know as he could see the combined insignia.
"PRISM WAIT!" Brenin shouted, "DON'T STEP IN THAT--"
Prism suddenly stepped in the trap as it glowed a color of silver and white. Prism let out a squeak as she narrowly dodged it just as what looked to be a pitfall with a silver portal opened.
"A Combined Trap?!" Prism exclaimed out of realization.
Just as she landed on the ground, she found herself tripping over the edge as she let out a scream. "PRISM!" Asta exclaimed as he picked up the pace. He managed to make it as he had grabbed a hold of her wrist as did Brenin as they were struggling to keep their balance; though the weight of his sword didn't help as he found himself falling in with her, shocking the group.
"ASTA!! PRISM!!" Feodora shouted as she was about to activate her magic but she had been taken back when she felt Karasu passed her by with a sudden breeze as it made her stop in her tracks in shock as he was suddenly right by them. Just as he sheathed his sword he didn't make a grab for their wrists, instead he grabbed ahold of Asta and Prism's waists as he soon fell in with them.
"NO!" Feodora exclaimed just as they fell before she ran.
Pluck shouted as he finally ran towards where the pitfall had opened, "Hold on! I got you!" He took out his gum sword ready to launch
Feodora made a jump at the pit fall though just as she did the pitfall suddenly closed, causing Pluck to freeze. She immediately sat on her knees as she had a look of horror. "No--" She said before she started to slam her fists in the ground trying to get it to open, not even caring if she broke her skin, "--NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!!"
"Feodora, that's enough!" Yukiko said, "you'll--"
"I DON'T CARE!" Feodora yelled as she continued, the forces of her punch became harder, shocking Yukiko, Noelle and Pluck, "OPEN!! OPEN UP YOU STUPID TRAP!!"
"GIVE IT A REST!" Pluck shouted as he held her arm.
Nollee added as she held her back, "You'll hurt yourself! Please stop!"
Feodora had been heaving deep breaths as they could see that her knuckles were already bleeding. They finally let her go as she looked to be frozen and her body shook with anger.
"Damn it--DAMN IT ALL!!" Feodora yelled, "DAMN YOU STUPID DUNGEON!"
"What even was that anyway?" Noelle asked.
"That was a combined Trap spell." Yukiko said, "I caught sight of the insignia--It was laced with spatial magic too. It must be the trap Brenin stepped into."
"You mean they could be in a different dungeon?!" Feodora exclaimed.
"No, no, no--" Pluck said, "--That only happened because before this dungeon appeared they were in a place where reality and time was non-existent. And since it's in the real world now the trap must've put them in a different part of the dungeon."
Yukiko soon told them reassuringly, "We'll see them again."
"That damn son of a--" Feodora soon said before she stood, "--Where did you see Luck run off?"
"He ran down that way--" Noelle said pointing in the direction he had gone in, "--But why would you want to know that?"
"BECAUSE I'M GONNA KILL THAT SON OF A BITCH FOR NOT DOING HIS JOB RIGHT!!" Feodora shouted as her bangs turned a streak of white and her eyes shifted to an icey blue. She took them back with a sudden gust of wind. The next thing they knew when they opened their eyes, she had been in the very same corridor Luck had been as she took off inside.
"Wha--" Noelle said shocked, "--How did she do that!?" She soon turned to Pluck, "I thought you could do that!"
Pluck said, plainly shocked, "I'm wondering that too!"
"Never mind that--" Yukiko said, "--We have to get moving and find everyone and retrieve that treasure!"
Pluck had said with a sigh, "Like we have a choice.."
