The Abyssal Saint King nonchalantly stated as if he was having a merry conversation with a friend.
He was using his Halberd as a pivot to rest his body and talking with Fan Lin, letting him recover from the injury.
"You sure you won't regret it." [Fan Lin]
Fan Lin asked as the wound on this upper body was recovering at a really low rate.
He wasn't healing but melding his body as his Petrosapien physique does come with that ability but it wasn't infinite.
He took out a new shirt and wore it.
He de-equiped his Three Word Battle Armor as more than 60% of it was destroyed from the previous attack. He used his soul power to repair it in his mind space.

"Let's start." [Fan Lin]
Fan Lin said to the Abyssal Saint King.
"Okay but before that, tell me how you survived it. Is it related to that shining ring above your head?"
The Abyssal Saint King asked while taking out his Halberd from the ground.
"Yeah it is." [Fan Lin]
Fan Lin replied as his ninth ring kept glowing.
This was the ring that the Abyssal Saint King talked about.
"Interesting. What does it do?" [Abyssal Saint King]
The Abyssal Saint King asked while nonchalantly swinging his Halberd.
"Demage reduction, only till I have the soul power to sustain it." [Fan Lin]
Fan Lin said as he thought of a plan to attack him.
"I didn't think you would tell." [Abyssal Saint King]
The Abyssal Saint King said with surprise.
"What would the dead do with information?" [Fan Lin]
Fan Lin took a deep breath and conjured multiple Blue Silver Energy Spear around him.
"Getting cheeky just because you have a damage reduction skill? You are severely underestimating me, kid." [Abyssal Saint King]
The Abyssal Saint King said as he once again disappeared from his place and attacked Fan Lin with his Halberd.
Fan Lin took the attack head on and used the Blue Silver Energy Spear at point blank range while using the Almighty Push to change the direction of the Halberd.
The Abyssal Saint King smirked as he released the Halberd from his grip and swept his palm to destroy the Energy Spears.
The Halberd with the force of Almighty Push and the fact the no one was holding it got blown away.
The Energy Spears were destroyed by the Abyssal Saint King who then found Fan Lin just behind him with a stronger Energy Spear at his back.
He immediately turned around and intercepted the Energy Spear with his Halberd as it appeared into his hands.
On the other hand, Fan Lin teleported by the side of the Abyssal Saint King and casted the Energy Spears from another side.
'Same tactics won't work twice kid.' [Abyssal Saint King]
The Abyssal Saint King immediately sped up and thrusted his Halberd into Fan Lin's body.
The thrust was so strong that it pierced his body.
The Abyssal Saint King used his hand to prop Fan Lin's head and looked at him in the eye, Fan Lin's body still pierced by his Halberd.
"You were great kid but as I said before, you are too young, maybe in a few years but not now." [Abyssal Saint King]
Fan Lin looked him in the eye and weakly put his hands on the Abyssal Saint King's shoulder.
"I know." [Fan Lin]
He immediately clenched the neck of the Abyssal Saint King with one hand and the hand that was on the spear with his other hand.
'5000x gravity.'
Fan Lin said as an energy sphere of red and blue colour immediately formed between them.
While the area was completely sealed with massive gravitation force from both the ground and the sky. The gravitational pull was strong enough to form micro black holes around them.
They were completely sealed with nowhere to move.
The Energy sphere exploded the moment Fan Lin clenched the Abyssal Saint King into his grip.
A massive explosion happened and this time, it tore apart everything around him, leaving a void.
There was no light, no sound, no space and not even time.
It was just nothingness. Everything that got caught in the radius of the attack just disappeared without any form of resistance.
This was the triple soul skill fusion of Energy Spear, Chibaku Tensei and Fiery Fire.
Fan Lin just thought of this in the middle of his fight and with the aid of his ninth ring, he was able to implement it.
But...
The area reconstructed around them as the Abyssal Saint King touched the wound of his chest.
"Haha hahaha hahahaha. Kid, that hurts a little bit." [Abyssal Saint King]
He was genuinely surprised by the Kamikaze attack of Fan Lin and got injured as a result.
He recreated the area around him.
"But to use yourself as the bait to kill me? You have earned my respect kid. You did. Alas if you had trained few more... Okay how did you survive?" [Abyssal Saint King]
Just as the Abyssal Saint King recreated the area, he found Fan Looking at him in shock from a distance.
"I am immune to my own attacks." [Fan Lin]
Fan Lin said as he used his Petrosapien physique to mend his body once again. This time at a far faster rate though.
"It's not just damage reduction, isn't it? And you got stronger."
The Abyssal Saint King said while smiling. His eyes filled with excitement as the toy he was playing with was still good.
"Just needed a little push to rank up and yeah it isn't just damage reduction."
Fan Lin said as he felt the surge of strength that he got when he ascended to Rank 98 Super Douluo level.
He spiritual power was already sitting at the peak of the Spirit Domain Realm and without the constrict of the Planar Ruler of the Douluo plane in the Abyssal plane he was able to reach the Divine Origin Realm realm and upgraded his rank to Rank 98.
He realised that rank 97 was doing nothing to the Abyssal Saint King.
