As Nathan Jehu passed the street that was void of persons, he rested his arms upon the railings of the avenue's rim and gazed below.

The drizzle was still continuous but meagre, rippling the waters of the river that was flowing beneath the city of Wredgeton.

He remembered seeing a little brown damsel treading the pillars of the bridge through the torrential rains a couple of days prior. Just as he looked on, amidst thoughts, there was a flutter that shifted in his sights.
