Chapter 69 - The Bet

Alice didn't expect to hear this from the man who had saved her a while ago.

"How rude ..." she said. Dexter looks back at her and gives her a bad gaze.

"What did you say?"

"I said, you're naughty,"

Dexter scoffed, "Miss ... Let me remind you, I saved you from that man,"

"Yes, that's why I said thank you but like other men, you're just like them,"

"Hey, Miss ..."

"Don't you hey miss me, I have a name and that's Alice! How rude!" annoyed, Alice enters back into the shop while Dexter can't accept that a woman can say that word to him. 

"I'm naughty?" he asked himself with a laugh and went to his car. He was inside the car as he started the engine, but before he could drive off, he looks back at the coffee shop and looks at Alice, "How interesting," he said and left. 

Alice rolled her eyes as she saw his car left. "Yes, he's handsome, but he had an attitude. He's a big NO for me," she said inside her mind and nods.
