From the day he killed those dragon hunters, easily a whole month had gone by.
He was having fun, you know? He managed to make himself a nice home on this island and even started his own Draconic Guard to search for Dragon Hunters. Contrary to what the show and movies show you, it isn't that easy to find Dragon Hunters, and when he found them, he normally found a single ship.
So, this month, his progress was minimal in the quest, while his growth for power was amazing.

'Hm...' His fingers traced the grass, Kamalu was rolling on it with a grin, he knew very well that this was Dragon Nip! Dragon Nip alters Dragon behavior, paralleling Cat Nip in real life. It affects different dragons differently, ranging from no reaction to relaxation, to playfulness, to aggression (very much like the variable influence in cats). It affected Kamalu, too, making him giddy and playful, rolling on the grass and having his enormous tail movr erratically everywhere. Alrik didn't mind the tail, simply ducking when he felt the air move and ripple, making said tail go past where his head was. He was very used to this by now since Kamalu was a very, very cuddly and fuzzy dragon.
He was very touchy, always playing around with Alrik, and that was when he learned that Kamalu? He was an adolescent of his species and would reach his full growth in about a few years or so. 'Well, or even less, I'm not sure about that.' He only learned that Kamalu was an adolescent because when his [Observe] skill became Level Max, he was able to see more things. He could see the little guy's age and some extra information:
[Kamalu - Lvl 81
Sex: Male
Age: 8 Years (Adolescent)
Status Condition: Dragon Nip (Euphoria)
Mood: Happy
Description: Currently happy and comfortable around his alpha, playful by nature and lacking the parental affection he needed growing up due to the fact that his parents were slain, forcing him to grow alone. Sees his alpha as the parents he never had.
Abilties: Powerful Combat, Lava Breath, Strong Body, Ally Call]
"...as a dad?" He sees him as a dad!? Alrik had to stop himself from crying as he read that, like, he is a dad!? He always wanted to be a dad, but sadly, men can't get pregnant, and he wasn't able to adopt, which was why he gave up his life for the life of that little girl... After he learned he was a father figure for a big dragon, he started to teach said dragon about things he could understand.
[Alpha Lvl 5
His two new aspects of his skill were
It's incredible what he can do now!
Mostly, the magic, it is very useful alongside his potion making and herbalism abilities! He can make the potion enter the target's body with his [Surgery Magic] by doing a 'transfusion' of the liquid into the bloodstream of his target, which was rather OP if he used it for assassination, the only downside is that he needs to focus to cast spells and he needs to create them too. His [Environmental Magic] is more of a really broad type of magic, which he can use to control the world around him to such a degree that he learned how to go underwater and breathe! [Environmental Magic] makes him able to use so many types of magic that he got overwhelmed easily by them, so he focused mainly on the ones he could use now. And they were 4, since the skill was level 4 too.
Ocean Magic, Island Magic, Forest Magic, and Sky Magic.
These four were all different from one another, seeing as mot only their domains were completely different, but they also got empowered while in their domain. If he was on the island and used island magic, the magic would be stronger, but if he was on the island and used Ocean Magic, then it'd be weaker than normal. It also gave him a small awareness of the environments around him, meaning he knew what was happening around him in a degree... Which, together with his high perception Stat, made him really pissy until he got used to it after a while.
So, imagine his surprise when he felt and heard from afar the sound of his home being attacked.

-Scene Cut-
With a grin on his face and a blade in hand, the mad man jumped and slashed against the scales of the terrifying monstrosity that lit itself ablaze with the flames of Muspelheim, roaring in anger as he and his raged war against the enemies of mankind.
Or, well, he was looking for some challenge. You see, as his culture entails, at the ripe age of 17, everyone must find their match. Someone as strong as they are, someone who can fight them and win in a clean battle. That way, the defeated knows they've found the one who was meant for them, then they engage in furious fornication... Whatever that means, his dad didn't really explain how that works! He just said: "One day you'll meet your match, and it'll end in furious fornication!" or something like that, he did vanish a few days after and probably died!
Nevertheless, he always kept searching for his so-called 'match'. He has seen many of his men and women find their match in each other or in other people who they challenged and the challenged won... It's more of a cultural thing than an actual thing, but hey, it works! Normally, after finding their "match," his people will then integrate their match's virtues and good habits and will encourage their match to do the same, as to make themselves stronger too. Does their match know how to make swords, and is really good at that? Then they'll learn how to make swords too and teach their match how to use them for war.
Is their match a farmer? (He still doesn't know how his aunt's match was a farmer, but hey, she is very happy with her farmer wife) Then they'll learn how to care for the soil too and teach their match what they know that is good, empowering each other in the process.
This tradition has been going hundreds of years before his great-grandfather was even born upon Midgard soil. But there's a problem... Every single person he challenges is weak. The only few who managed to defeat him were not someone who was worthy of his challenge! To be someone's match, they have to challenge you for combat (Combat is just the one he chooses. He doesn't even care that there are other challenges out there, too) and if they win, they are worthy of being your match.
Ah, where was he again...?
He paused for a second to think what he was doing, only to see his own arm moving and striking the dragon with the turquoise blade of his ax. 'Oh right. Murder.' He silently nodded to himself before - but his arm was caught, and his ax was stopped by a bare hand holding the handle. His eyes widened in surprise, hope filling his heart as he turned to look at the person who caught his arm to see the largest man he had ever laid eyes upon. "...oh." Was all he could say before his body was flung. He flew a few meters away and hit his back against a tree, a tree that hugged his body as it bark wrapped around him.
He started to try and get free from this jail of wood, his eyes never leaving the battlefield as the flames roared and the single man roared louder than said flames. His eyes were grey like smoke, his hair was short like it had been recently buzzed with an ax, and his body was like that of a giant. Strong, really strong.
He easily defeated and even killed many of the dragon hunters he was given, but he didn't care.
"You -" He broke through the tree, grin wide and sharp: "- I, Dagur the Deranged, challenge you for a Match."
-Scene Cut-
And that's how we got here!
As the duo laughed like two deranged and crazy idiots, weapons long shattered and thrown to the side, fists doing their job as natural weapons. Bones broke, skin was torn, and blood was shed - For the first time since he got to this world, Alrik found himsef a match, someone who can keep up with him! He has the power to hit as hard as a big dragon, so how is this guy even keeping up with him!? He was a Berserker. He knew that liking strength was something many vikings do, but fighting Dagur the Deranged? He never expected that!
He also didn't expect his... boner. But hey, he has an excuse!
[
You blood boils for fighting, increasing your endorphin levels as you fight, making you more and more deranged. This also makes you more... excited. This state increases your strength, speed, endurance, vitality, and more, and more are increased gradually as you fight.]
This was amazing. He never had so much fun! He was distantly aware that their whole war had ended, the hunters were defeated by his dragons while he kept their leader at bay, but his cock bouncing and slapping against his stomach each time they traded blows was not something he thought was going to happen, and neither did he expect to see the same lustful and crazy gaze upon his enemy's eyes... He felt free.
He opened his mouth just as the other did -
""Marry me!""
[You've completed the hidden quest: Unhinged Marriage]
[...congratulations?]
[Party Function Unlocked.]
-Scene End-
Fun fact: Dagur was one of my childhood crushes.
Damn, i liked the crazy ones that can kill me, huh?
