Looking at the mortal that he just gave one of his three children to, he sighed - If he wanted to survive, he had to do this. He was outside of every single universe, in a place where Eldritch Abominations crawl and scream, and the only thing between them and him is this fucking cage! Thankfully, one of his children managed to find a good host right now, meaning he could gather energy to strengthen himself to the point he can withstand the attacks of the Eldritch Abominations when they break his cell, because they will! The mortal his [Task] baby chose was this boy who looked downright miserable. He had given [Task] instructions to go to a non-magical world and find the most pathetic mortal before choosing them as their host because that would make them rely more on the system's powers, granting more energy as they grow stronger! He also made sure to tie the person's abilities with the system, so if he ever takes the system away, the person's abilities are taken with it too.
Right now, Ryan Egorath, his first ever system user, was stunned.
The world he lived in was but a simple one, one without any magic and with technology in the 21st century level, which was standard for many realities and universes really... What was the [Task] system able to do? Well, grant tasks! The way the Creator of the System (Him!) could get power was thrown, absorbing the energy generated by the interaction between the system and the user, the strong the user is, the more impact they have on their world, the stronger the energy they produce. He has very neat little abilities due to his status as an Eldritch Abomination, or something that stays outside all universes... He can look into them. He can make so no one inside that universe can see what his systems and their users do, and he can grant special boons and abilities to his systems, making them able to stop or revert time, resurrect their users if enough power is used, and have the hidden sentience ability. Meaning they are sentient in a way that mortal minds can not perceive, which makes them essential spies as well.
He made three children - The oldest, [Gaea], was sent to a world in development, where upon he was able to stitch the world's consciousness to [Gaea], making so every being that lives inside the plant can have access to [Gaea], making her a planetary system! Her abilities were simple: She could make, modify, and change anything! She can't destroy things she creates sadly. Her main source of power was the RPG concept of classes, levels, magic, and skills! At the moment, there aren't many system users in that world, as it had just been born, so [Gaea] was shaping the world to become what she wanted it to be, granting it magic with her systematic abilities before creating Gods and Goddesses, going into recharge mode to get her energy back withour having to receive energy from her dad and creator. She would also use the energy she received from her children to recharge faster, too!
The middle child was [Tower], a system created with the concept of the cliche "Climb Tower to get strong" trope, where he had full control over everything inside his own body, which was the tower itself floating within a pocket dimension hidden between the 7th and 8th layer of reality, where the Dreams of The Creator resides, which is the perfect place seeing as [Tower] has access to a limited amount of multiverses to play with, spawning copies of himself inside those multiverses to slowly climb the tower and get stronger while doing so! [Tower] also made so the floors upon himself were actual worlds and not just floors, each floor was a different world or dimension, with their own lifeforms. To make matters more threatening for the mortals, he made so he could spit out some monsters from inside him to go rampaging in the world they pop into. That way, he could make so mortals could enter his clones and climb it, generating energy and empowering the Creator.
Then there was [Task]... They were the weakest sibling because they were the one with the most potential because their ability was to grant any reward to their chosen one as long as a task had been finished by their Chosen One. They get bound to one Champion at a time, meaning their start energy production is nowhere near [Tower], but he had the one with the potential to be the one who produces the most energy.
He placed them in three categories he just created: [Personal Systems], [Multiversal Systems], and [World Systems].
For his entertainment, he decided to watch [Task] and their champion, and that was... Interesting to watch.

Time is a weird soup.
One moment, Ryan started seeing these floating screens, and the next? He is now standing before the cutest boy at school, the one who everyone has a crush on. "Please go out with me!" he said, and for three seconds, he stood there nervously, having no way of knowing what was going on inside his head when a "Ew." echoed out from the boy's lips. After that, Ryan just... couldn't.

'Fuck!' He cursed inside his mind - He had completed a few tasks by now, the tutorial one was the easiest task while the other following four were a little difficult. But flirting? Asking a boy out? 'Fuck... Status.'

And as you can see, his stats are pathetic. Something even more pathetic was how he was feeling... It hurt his heart a lot.

He sighed. Why was he even doing these tasks in the first place? The last four tasks increased his stats, sure, but what else can he get? Is it really worth it...? He went home after school, down to the limit, and that was when it happened.
An earthquake.

Ryan did not hesitate to run back to the school grounds. He had just left anyway as had the majority of people, and now he was running back inside. He had successfully managed to get inside the building when everything went to shit. He watched in both awe and terror when a black metal tower started to rise from the ground, and with it came this message inside his mind that reminded him of his own system;
[Greetings mortals. Your world has been selected by the Tower. Climb the Tower to survive.]
And that was it. However, immediately after that, he received his own reward for completing the task his system had given him.

His panic slowly died down, almost as if a cold shower was covering his skin, and that cold shower somehow entered his head, and he could think now! It only made him calm. He could still feel his other emotions, he can just ignore everything else and focus on the now. 'Wow...' That moment, he saw several green little monsters running towards the school, some were riding wolves, some carried spears and swords, while others had bows and arrows, and some had daggers too. 'Goblins?' His thoughts quickly moved as he saw his classmates get killed before his own eyes. He felt fear and disgust seeing their blood and bodies, but all he could do was think about how to survive this whole thing! "Up." There were windows that could be broken and doors that were more fragile than they looked, so he ran up to higher classrooms where hopefully he could find a broom - That's all he wants.
Although not effective or useful right now, all he needs to do is...
