We see Poison, sitting on the floor from behind his back, his tail swinging from side to side and raised high as he focused on something. His hands move fast and he takes pieces of rubble and scrap metal, as well as wires and weeds from the floor before he twists it and turns it around, there's a craking sound as something seemingly breaks and we hear: "Fuck!" A curse escape his lips, his long bunny like ears spread high above his head, they are weirdly adorable in this scenario. "Finally..." he whispers to himself as he turns around and is staring directly at the camera- "Oh, you're up huh?" We now see from his perspective who was trying sneak behing him: Augustus Giopara, the boy had to wear rags due to him falling on mud and playing on it for a while, and since those were his only clothes, Poison gave him his shirt that he wore, since the pants were not exactly a fit... Those were the only clothes he had that Augustus could use, since he only makes clothes for himself!
Also, it might secretly not so secretly please the beast inside his mind... Because he was wearing his scent, and that was somehow good? I mean, Poison's used to different smells, he prefers his smell, Acid's smell, the smell of freshly baked good, the smell of rain, the scent of daisies, and of course, the smell of blood. That one he can't forget no matter how hard he tries. "Yeah. I... Didn't see you after." It might sound weird, but in the middle of the night, Augustus woke up in the arms of the giant wolf. The response he got? Well:
"O-of course i had to hug you! I don't have a mattress or anything like that! Plus, you were freezing and i am not a horrendous monster to let you die like this after technically kidnapping you." And he huffed and pulled him closer to 'get him warm', of course he could hear the thumping of the tail as it hit the wooden floor of the room he occupied, living in a giant tree is so fucking awsome! Also, he was very cozy to sleep with, even while only wearing a shirt so big it is basically a dress.
"Well, i got up early to heat oven and make the bread... Acid's already there eating, you might want to get there before he eats everything." There was a chuckle on his voice as he kept hiding something with his large body- Even though Augustus was curious about what he was hiding, his mind couldn't help but wander back to when he met the little thing! He remembers looking at Poison right as a blur of white fell from the tree above their head right into Poison's arms, he just sighed before going on a rant to the tiny little Poro wearing a helmet about how dangerous it is to juml from high places- as if he didn't do it a few minutes before going on such lecture.
He sat down with the little Poro, who was bathing himself in honey and bread, before he also began to eat a rather... bountiful meal for these parts.
-Scene Cut-
"Wanna hear a story?" Poison whispered as he was using his claws fo weave a long line of wool, his nails acting as knitting needles thanks to his great Dexterity. Augustus, who sat beside him watching immediately turned to look at him and stare at him with big shining eyes, almost as cute as Acid- talking about the Poro, he was sitting on Augustus' lap and looking at him the same way qs Augustus did. Only twice as cute though.
"Yeah!" He has been playing around with Acid, since Poison said they would stay here for a day or so, since Augustus didn't want to go home now- What? He wants to take advantage of the situation and learn as much as he can while he's here! The large wolf snickered before he patted Augustus in the head, turning around and going back to weave as he said:
"Well... There was once a lonely road, and on this road, a Lamb and a Wolf stood side by side looking forward. The silence was deafening, so Wolf, in his boredom, asked his trusted companion and friend Lamb:
Wolf: "Tell me a story, Lamb." and Lamb, with prestine, gentle, and cold voice like feathers falling on fresh snow answered:
Lamb: "Once a little spirit traveled a long road through the dark." She looked tenderly at the road ahead of them, the sun was setting behind them slowly, as the day came to rest.
Wolf: "They were alone?" Wolf growled as in the distance you could hear the sound of a galloping horse and shouting.
Lamb: "The path they traveled was one all must walk alone." Lamb pulled back the string of her bow and aimed, a knowing and sure gaze upon the road ahead of them.
Wolf: "Where was it going?" Rumbled Wolf innocently, even though they say Wolf is brutal, he is innocent and full of feelings.
Lamb: "The same place that all paths lead, to an end." Whispered Lamb, even though they say Lamb is gentle, she is cold and hard as reality is.
Wolf: "Ah. We were there." Wolf whispered in realization, his eyes gazing upon the fleeing man on top of a racing horse.
Lamb: "Yes, we were." Lamb released her arrow, the man was hit from behind by an arrow, and he left the living to join Kindred in their eternal hunt." Augustus was distracted by the little tale, and when he looked down at the moving fingers, he saw how much he had already weaved him a... underwear.
Blushing slightly, August thanked the large wolf, who just grinned and said: "Well, I've already seen everything you have under there pretty boy." As he turned around and continued to weave... Where did he get that line anyway? (He stole it.) The color of the yarn was red... "Red. Red was quite the color. The color of love, the color of hate. The color of glowing cheeks under the sun, of smiling lips and sweet rose petals. The color of a sour candy in a young child's soft hand. The color of war, of blood, of pain. The color that plagued the nightmares of the bravest men... The color of Noxus." Poison only raised an eyebrow at the boy beside him, he just spitted out such poetic shit that he was stunned for a second! "Oh, sorry." he turned shy after saying all that, but Poison was curious now: "Where did you learn that? You wrote it or some shit?"
"No, uhm, it's actually a Demacian Poem written about Noxus a few hundred years ago." He smiled remembering how his father would read him some poems when they werw studying together, he always remembered whatever his dad told him or read for him. "Oh, cool... You got any more of those? This here will take a while." He motioned to the next piece of clothing he was making for him with great proficiency, which made Augustus wonder if he had made clothes for others before...? "Well, this is just one of the Poems of the 'Colors of Runeterra', one of my favorite books." He smiled when Poison nodded, he continued explaining: "There's five poems, one about Noxus, the red, one about Demacia, the golden, one about Ionia, the blue, one about Shurima, the yellow, and one about Freljord, the white."
"I'm all ears." Poison chuckled as his ears turned and twisted towards Augustus, making the boy chuckle as well as Poison said: "Quite literally." And so, Poison kept working on the clothes he was about to give to the poor naked boy, his own clothes were drying on a wall, but most were far too gone due to the mud drying on the fabric and no amount of scrubbing could take it out, it ended tearing the fabric though. "Well..." And so, Augustus kept telling him about the poems he could remember, searching through his memory as much as he could.
It was nice.
-Scene Cut-
Oh, but nice things come to an end rather quickly, and how quickly this one was.
After making him some clothes, Poison, by Augustus' request, took him around the Undercity so he could stare reality in the face! Poison took him everywhere he could safely bring him, he even told him about the Goddess he worships and why the air was so pure in his home- Learning a Goddess watched over Poison was a surprise to Augustus, he asked everything he could from Poison about her, and in the end was able to experience her manifestation through a burst of wind on his face! Poison laughed at his shocked gaze as he entered the Last Drop, only to pause at the sight of Enforcers. Augustus hit his back, grunting and breaking away the silence inside the bar, making the three Enforcers turn to look at Poison who was at the door, long hood up hiding away his features.
This was actually a magical item he made, the only function was to create a shadow on the hood hole and hide his face, so no one saw who he was due to the darkness. "Hey, Poison, why did we stop... Oh, i see." The Enforcers looked at the boy and immediately recognized who he was- They turned to the veiled creature and cogs turned into their heads: 'They are the one who kidnapped Augustus Giopara!' And in a second, they bursted forth with aggression in their steps, weapons in hand, and anger in their eyes: "Seize them!" Marcus, the leader of the three Enforcers there ordered, and they sprung into action! Bullets flew towards the duo, Augustus flinched as suddenly Poison was in front of him, his back turned to the Enforcers as he hugged him- Bullets impaled his body and Augustus felt his body freeze in fear as Poison growled in anger, but before he could say anything, he shouted: "What does this mean, Enforcers!" his anger was not as scary as his mother's nor was his authoritarian posture as graceful or big as his father's once was, but he still could blossom in the future!
However, he did not care about this now.
No.
He was angry.
"Young master Giopara, please step away from this-"
"From this what? Enforcer." Augustus must've spent more time than he thought hearing Poison growl, because he soon growled out in anger as well: "You just shot someone without even ascertaining the situation at hand! You did not ask questions, you did not even try to get me to come to you, to safety, before you opened fire against an innocent man!" He didn't notice it, but the anger fueled something inside him, and a dam was broken because all of the metal around them floated slowly in the air, the knives, daggers, even spoon were all aimed at the Enforcers as Augustus angrily shouted: "You all are fucking incompetent, useless- fucking- SCUMS!" With the last shout, all metal flew towards the Enforcers, and Augustus calmed down and noticed what he was doing-
Vines wrapped around the Enforcers before they could be hurt and Poison said: "I'm sorry, Young Master Augustus Giopara, but i must go now." His voice was cold, he looked at Vander who was staring at them with a studying gaze. Augustus gasped and turned to look at Poison, but he was already gone, leaving behind only a single phrase in his way out: "Pray to Janna, let her guide your words."
Oh...
Poison forgot to give Augustus the little gift he was making for him. He looked down at the small wolf made out scrap metal and rubble, tied up together with wires and weed and sighed as he placed the small golem core into the chest cavity of the little wolf, making its eyes low for a second before they blinked, becoming a golem. "I guess I'll have to give it to him... Tonight." A grin emerged from his lips, well, just because Augustus is going back to his home, it doesn't mean they can't keep on being... friends.
Right?
Yeah, thought so.
-Author Note-
I won't be cruel and separate them!
They'll see each other... One a month or so.
