Lucky for him, he has it, albeit very limited for now... Limited in the way his magic will only produce fire, about how many times he can produce is something he has to find out about. First off, he is 11 years old, the year is 1989, he's about to start to test it out, but he needs to be careful because fire is highly dangerous. "The more magic you use, the more magic you'll have!" Yu cheerfully said inside bhis head, making Nero sigh... yu's kinda umable to help him out by a lot here, the only thing he can do at the moment is protect his mind from mental probing since if someone tried to enter his mind, they would enter yu's mind instead, where he is the absolute ruler. Even though he's a little useless, he still is a God with a capital G and can do some interesting things such as remember anything and everything he sees and hears, being able to tell directions like a GPS, and being able to detect or feel magic around him, which can be used to detect hidden magical artifacts oe treasures.
"So, can you like, detect any living organism near me?" nero's question was met with dissapointing "no." from Yu, who apologized for being useless and unable to help his Champion on becoming the strongest champion out there. The rules of the game was simple, after an Eon they would all retunr to that white room, they could bring people their champion has serlected but up to 6 of them (not including the Champion themselves), if your champion died before the competition, you're out of it, and you have your divinity locked and are sent to the mortal world to suffer forever.
Kinda harsh not gonna lie.
Nero instantly thought of the scene back in the white room, where Yu was laughed a lot by the others God, it reminded him of his past self and he couldn't turn and look away like many poeple did when it was him, no, he wouldn't abandon the poor God here. and let him suffer. "Hey Yu?" his voice was met with an 'Yeah?' from the little God, who thankfully couldn't read his thoughts since that was against his morals ( He himself said it earlier when nero asked him if he was reading his thoughts, and it was also prohibited since it could destroy teh trust between Champion and God...) "Can you tell me, exaclty, how many times can i use a spell?"
"Depends on which spell you are talking about, because they'll probably be difficult to cast since you can only use fire-based attacks and defenses, and probably other things..." Yu paused for a moment until he noticed Nero's questioning aura, he decided to continue explaining: "Well you see, ever spell will adapt to your Fire-based restriction as long as it is possible for the spell to do so. Protego, for example, would create a shield of flames that can easily protect you. Wingardium Leviosa will set the item you're trying to levitaet on fire, but it'll float if you want it to."
"Yu, is it possible for me to will my fire not to burn anything i don't want it to burn?"
"Yes, it's quite easy, you can even switch the fire's color at will too, and you can also only cause heat if you want to, not flames. And you can also become fire, like, turn your body into flames, but that's kinda dangerous so i don't want you to try doing that."
HUh, this is great, he can use this! Nero smiled as he looked down at his tiny childish hands before asking: "Let's say, how many times would i be able to cast Lumos?" Yu pondered for a while, doing calculations before answering: "4 times. You would create a tiny flame on the top of your wnad or the light you create will be orange, depends on your choiche, but the liight will emanate heat if you don't want the flame to appear!" That was the answer he got from his God, which was low, absolutely low. He'll need to rely on deception and manipulation, as well as other forms of magic that don't necessarily need spells, so Potions, Herbology, and something else because he cannot bother now. "if i regularly use magic will it increase faster or slower?"
"Faster and then slower, like, let's put it in numbers!" Suddenly a screen appeared in head, showing the number [4] alongside the spell [Lumos = 1]. "Here, let's say you have only have 4 magic points, if you use them al, the very next day they'll become [5] MP,and after using all your [5] points, they become [10], then theyll become [20], then [40], then [80], and then it should continue like that until you have about [1000] MP, which is the avarage number of MP an untrained adult wizard has!" Suddenly, the board/screen turned on itself, showing the name of different spells; "Let's say... {Avada Kedavra] costs 100 MP, an Untrianed adult Wizard can use the infamous spell 10 times before they get exhausted." A single spell, [Expectrum Patronus], glowed in a blue color as Yu explained: "[Expectrum Patronus] is a special spell, albeit all spells and magic in general are affected by emotions, this spell is specifically affected by it. It normally costs 100 to 200 MP depending on your proficiency- which is something i'll explain later- but when a very strong emotion of pure happiness and joy i sused to fuel the spell, it makes the spell stronger and also reduces the cost of the spell, bringing it down to mere 50 MP."
Nero pinched the bridge between his nose and forehead before continuing to focus on Yu's lecture about how his magic would function: "Now about proficiency... The more you use a spell the better you get at using that spell, which is something good because it increases the strenght of the spell, decreases the cost of Mp to use that spell, and can be used silently on even wandlessly!" NOw, wandless magic is something he needs to discuss with Yu, so he decided to ask him right away: "Yu, can you tell me about Wandless Magic?"
"Well, it basically doubles the cost of every spell you try to use, unless you have a high proficiency with it, which is hard to get because you need to cast a lot of magic spells to let your body slowly start to get used to the feeling of having magic flowing freely through you, so is good to start earlier in life, preferably before puberty so it can be easier to use the Wandless magic and achieve high enough proficiency to not need a wand enough... Or you can, you know, have an enormous amount of MP and not have to worry about anything at all." Yu's remark was taken into consideration for now.
Yu was static, he was so happy to have someone who would finally hear him! For years after being born and receiving his Divinity that he oh so hated, Yugonoth was craving for recognition, so he studied and did his best... HOwever, he would never be able to compare himself on other Gods because they could use their Divinity at will while his made him exclty what he was... Uselesss. Due to not being able to fully use his Godly powers, Yu decided to gather as many information about everything and anything in this Omniverse that they existed in, which was huge and had billions of scrolls and books containing information that he learned in all his lif! He knew a lot, which was one of the things he used to limit the Magical power of his Champion due to his Divinity affecting his ability to give powerful blessings from the beginning. He would need to give his Champion a weak blessing and then slowly start strenghtning it with his Divine Energy, also helping his Champion increasing his proficiency over his blessings.
The blessing of magic was the first one, he did not chose this world, he was designed to it by the Lord God, the one who oversees the other Gods and has absolute authority over them all... Yu wanted to be him, have his position, so he studied harder and trained harder, but he never could use his Divinity at will, most of the times it would randomly just come forth and make things around him Useless... Unable to properly function. DivineSpells would go haywire and wild, causing different effects then what they were designed to do, some God's divinities would simply not work and plainly stop existing... This was one of the reasons the other Gods hated and mocked him, because he could erase the font of their power, he could erase them! If only he could controll it.
But he can't
As he was thinking of this, Yu heard the old matron talk to Nero, a very interesting Champion- Calm, collected, thinks before he acts, plans, and is seroius about this.- and say: "Sweety? There's someone here to see you."
And so, it starts.
