An angry scream echoed through the dark tunnel as a shadow darted through, following the bigger shadow was a smaller one, followed by ten different others and smaller shadows. They were of course Yoichi and Bür, who were fleeing from a group of Gnolls wearing nothing but a small tunic that held their weapons, crude stone spears and axes, as they ran towards them screaming through the dungeon and Yoichi could perfectly understand what they were talking about: "The orc is here!", "we found the orc!", "He is with a human!", "Kill the intruders!!!" and others similar shouts.
Yoichi was getting tired as he had to sometimes dodge arrows, once he caught one arrow with his hands he was able to store it inside his [Storage] without wasting mana since he can take them out and store them without using mana, but he needs to be touching them. He also used [Item Manipulation] to slow some arrows that would hit him or Bür, these little canines were ruthless as they aimed at their heels to be incapacitate them and kill them. "Intruders!" A sudden roar echoed from behind all the Gnolls, some of them shivered in fear at the angry and deep voice, Yoichi turned to look just to see a very big black Gnoll with red eyes, a scar going down his left eye. He was running on all fours, and he was getting close really fast! Yoichi had to think fast, maybe he could- He saw an opportunity!
"Come!" He ran ahead, his [Stamina] was almost completely gone but he could see another tunnel and when they turned and entered that tunnel, they saw a dead end. Yoichi clicked his tongue and began to sweat, he was tired and couldn't run anymore, he turned to look at Bür and saw him look down at Yoichi with determined eyes, as if he decided he would fight to keep him alive. Loyalty was one of the things Orcs consider holy, and Gnolls don't have loyalty, after all, their God is Gnarl, the God of Lies, Desire, and Assassins. Lying is in their nature, and they don't trust others with ease, but they have unhealthy obsessions with those they find interesting, so once they find someone to be obsessed with, they'll do anything to keep them.
Turning around, they saw that their exit was closed, and that they could do nothing.
Yoichi sighed, the bigger Gnoll was at front while the smaller ones were following him behind, he was clearly the leader of their group, their Alpha. Yoichi panted and barely could move, but Bür raised his arms and his body glowed with a faint green aura as he used [Defense Up] a [Defensive Technique] that as the name says, increases his defense, he will need it. And as soon as he finished, he moved forward as the big black Gnoll bit down his arm, teeth sinking inside Bür's flesh, making him scream in pain and agony as claws sank into his shoulders. Yoichi could only look, his mind associated this image with his past life, when his first boyfriend was bitten by his dog and he shouted: "Drop it!!!" Yoichi shouted as that memory came to mind, his voice was normal to him, but to the Gnolls and Bür it was a roar.
They all froze, because Yoichi didn't know that as he screamed his body glowed in a dark and threatening aura, he borrowed Orksha's power with his Blessing, he used his [Monster] domain to make the big, black Gnoll to drop Bür and it worked. However, he not only caught the attention of mortal Gnolls but also a certain God of Gnolls!

Yoichi raised his head to see a big snout sniffing him, his body froze until he heard a deep, husky voice said with a deeply amused tone: "Hm... You smell like one of us and yet is not one of us... Interesting. You pickdd my interest." Yoichi shivered at that deep bass voice, he looked at the big Gnoll thag looked down at him with his big red eyes and black snout, but this Gnoll, compared to the others, was bigger, more muscular, and had wolf-like features rather than the others dog-like small Gnolls. Yoichi could hear the smaller Gnolls whisper in awe like how he smelled like a Gnoll and how they were scared of his roar.
"Bad dog." Yoichi said, looking at the black Gnoll's eyes, who tilted his head sideways, like a confused puppy he looked at the human and frowned: "Dog? What's that?" Gnolls never seen a Dog, so they couldn't know what Yoichi was talking about. "You." Yoichi pointed at the big anthropomorphic wolf who sniffed his finger with curiosity, Bür finally snapped out of his confusion and pulled Yoichi away from the Gnoll quickly while saying: "Be careful my Loyal, this is a Lycanthrope! They are the evolved versions of Gnolls!"
A cool thing about this system is that every single creature can get [Classes] if they have access to a small crystal sphere that naturally spawns in Dungeons called a [Class Menu] which lets you get and change classes once they are level max to another one. You can only switch your class once it is at maximum level, and you can get higher levels as well and when you get the conditions and you, not your class, gets to level 100 and meets all the conditions... You can evolve.
Orca evolve to [Onis], they are green, blue, red, grey, black, or pink skinned humanoids with horns on their heads, they are bigger and stronger than Orcs as well!
Gnolls evolve to [Lycanthropes], they are anthropomorphic wolves with black, white, grey, or silver fur that get stronger at night, but can't control themselves at Full Moon.
Goblins evolve to [Hobgoblins], they are taller and stronger humanoids with more human-like appearance as well, they fingers get longer and they get smarter than before.
Nagas evolve to [Gorgons], they just get bigger and can turn their snake lower body into human legs as well as have the ability to petrify anyone who looks into their eyes.
Minotaurs evolve into [Taurus], they beefier creatures with longer horns and thicker bodies, their endurance also gets way stronger and almost endless! They become beasts that have a high libido and urge to breed with everything... They are normally used as sex slaves, even though they are rare, because they are always ready to fuck, which is a curse and a blessing due to their God being Tauric, God of Fertility, Endurance, and Love, which makes Minotaurs really loyal to their lovers. Most of the rare Taurus captured by humans are raped daily and wish for freedom.
Bugbears evolve into [Hidebehinds], creatures that can turn invisible at will with a single thought, they are shy creatures that are easily scared. However, they are cold blooded to their enemy, with no hesitation to kill anything.
Kobolds are small lizard humanoids, they always walk in groups and they evolve into [Dragonkins], a way taller version of themselves that can fly and use breath weapons depending on their color. Red is [Fire], Blue is [Ice], Light Blue is [Lighting], Green is [Poison], and Black is [Acid].
Drows are elves with dark skin, abandoned by their Goddesses due to their change of skin after they realize how bad she truly is, they have a deep respect for nature but a deep hatred for the Goddess, they see Elves as naive children who have not seen the truth, their God is the Elven Goddess brother who was banished from her divine realm and came to look at the Drows. They evolve into [Dark High Elves], a stronger version of themselves!
And there are other monsters that evolve too, but they are too many to count.
Evolving is hard and only a minority can do it, or so is believed, the truth is that together, all the Gods put restraining on their races to keep them from getting too strong.
The Lycanthrope snarled at Bür, tension coming back at full force and Yoichi sighed and said, all monsters understanding his words: "Stop this... Both your Gods already made a decision, we won't be fighting." They all looked at him surprised, the black Lycanthrope huffed in annoyance: "And who decided that?" Yoichi only gave him one look as he said: "Me."
Silence was brought upon every single Gnoll, who only lasted for a few seconds before they all started to laugh like a group of hyenas! Their cackles lasted for a whole minute, until they ended their laugh Yoichi only smiled as he focused all his intent on them and said, with a commanding voice: "Sit." A sudden sense of dread enveloped their hearts and they all sat down like obedient little puppies, but their faces expressed their deep fear! They soon understood who that man was, he was the chosen one of their God, to make them submit so easily! At that moment, all the Gnolls had a deep interest inside their hearts for Yoichi, including the black Lycanthrope whose obsession started.
"It's easier than i thought." Yoichi smiled, he knew for a fact that none of these monsters were mentally stronger than him, why? Because not only he died once, drowning, he also was cursed by the Three Bitches, and their curse hurts a lot! Pain makes people mentally stronger, as so does death apparently, so Yoichi successfully made all the 55 Gnolls and 1 Lycanthrope submit to him.
