Chapter 29 - Chapter 29 - Something Unexpected

"Ahh" Patricia can't stop screaming and has no idea where she is.

She was perplexed to find herself waking up in a strangely familiar room.

Patricia thought to herself, "Hmm, this room is familiar to me."

"Ate, wake up, it's breakfast time!" Irvin yelled from across the room.

*Ate means older sister.

Patricia realized she was back to her when she heard her brother's voice.

Patricia realized she was having difficulty adjusting to her new surroundings.

She has no idea what is going on. Is it all a dream, or does she actually transmigrate to those people?

She was so far away from what she remembered. She already shared a home with three other people. She even wonders if there will be more.

"Hopefully not, it's difficult to imagine," Patricia thought to herself.

*Little did she know there would be more :)

The first is Prince Mix, a girly prince who was gifted in magic and extremely intelligent.

The second is Prince Xly, with whom she had issues. According to her knowledge, the prince was cursed for some reason that affects his personality.

And the third is the most difficult. Alix was cursed to transform into a woman.

"Why did they all have strange problems? Well, that's true, no one in the world has any problems, but it's too confusing for me," Patricia grumbled to herself.

"Ate, It's getting late, you promised you'd be late for a movie," Irvin complains as he knocks again on the door.

"Ok, ok, Coming" Patricia replied.

The three siblings went out for a movie date after a couple of hours of eating and preparing.

"What movie do you want to see?" Patricia inquired about her younger brothers.

"The Journey of Nestor is an action film," Ken responded

"No, we can watch House of Horrors," Irvin suggested.

"Of course not!" says the author. Ken and Patricia both said the same thing at the same time.

"Look, I don't care what kind of movie it is as long as it isn't a horror movie," Patricia explained.

Irvin stated, "I can watch it on my own."

"No, this is our family bonding time; we need to watch one movie together," Ken explained.

"True, remember Vin, this is our movie date," Patricia said.

Irvin sighed and said, "Fine."

After an hour, the three siblings were able to choose which movie to watch. They settled on a futuristic film about a war against aliens in which the main character can time travel.

The following issue was. What snacks will they bring to the movie?

So they just finished with traditional BBQ Popcorn and soda.

Something out of the ordinary occurred. Who would believe that the movie theater where they were watching a movie had a power outage?

"What the hell?" Ken said

"..." Irvin

"I can't believe it, do malls have power outages?" Patricia inquired, perplexed.

They had no idea it had happened. It was unusual for the sibling to have time to bond or go on a family outing together. Because the three were preoccupied with work or studies.

When the power was restored, unfortunately, it was cut off again after 30 minutes.

It was an unusual experience for everyone who saw the film. They even believe it was a movie gimmick or something.

Even with all of the unexpected events that occur while watching a movie. However, it did prevent them from fully enjoying the film.

They can admit that the movie was good even with the power outage.

The three siblings have a new problem as a result of watching the movie. What they're going to eat for dinner.

Patricia and Ken had similar food preferences. The main issue was that their youngest child, Irvin, is a picky eater.

So whenever they decided to eat out, this was always a problem.

So, in the end, the older sibling has no choice but to go to the younger brother's favorite fast-food restaurant.

*One point for Irvin

The following morning

Patricia was taken aback when she saw the notification letter on her table. She can't help but frown as she reads it.

It was a letter of dismissal from my job.

Don't flinch in bewilderment. It wasn't hers; it belonged to one of the salespeople.

The main problem she was tasked with resolving was assigned to her by management. However, she will be the one to inform the individual that he has been fired.

To be fair, this was Patricia's first job as a manager. This will be her first time firing someone.

"Why are they making things so difficult for me? "Oh well, I don't have a choice," Patricia thought to herself.

This was difficult for her because she was the bearer of bad news for that person.

She was considering who she could say it to without appearing rude or being misunderstood by that person.

It was an unexpected experience for her. There is always a first time in everything right.

"You fired and packed your belongings."

"Why are you here, you've been fired?"

"You are fired because you have the lowest sales for the month."

"Unfortunately, we must fire you."

"Like Elsa, we need to let you go."

Patricia was already yelling in fear, trying to think of nice words to say. But all she could think of was how rude it was.

She was thinking that her experience with those dreams was influencing her thinking.

The problem is that such thinking will not be tolerated in modern society.

She was not a prince in this life, and she could not simply kill those she disliked.

"Why is my thought jumbled, Patricia? We live in a peaceful society devoid of violence," Patricia reflected herself.

"They said you should call me, Ma'am Pat," Jason stated

"Yes, I did. Please have a seat because we need to talk about something important," Patricia said, motioning to the chair next to her station.

"All right, Ma'am Pat," Jason said politely.

"Jason, how do you feel about your performance over the last few months?" Patricia inquires

"It was difficult for me," Jason admitted candidly.

"All right, I'll get right to it. Jason, we agreed that you needed to hit the quota, but it's been 5 months and you haven't hit the target quote at all." According to Patricia

"I know you know I'm trying to say the right thing." Patricia also adds

"Yes, Ma'am, when is my last payment?" Jason inquired.

"This month, we just need to sign some documents for company protocol formalities," Patricia explains.

"No problem, ma'am," Jason asked, "Can I ask for an employment certificate, ma'am Pat?"

"No problem at all." As long as you are all cleared in the HR office, I will process that for you within the day. If you need assistance finding a new job, I can refer you to a connection. Is that okay with you?" Patricia inquires

"Yes, ma'am, I will wait for the certificate before recommending you for a new job, ma'am Pat, thank you." Jason.

**

"That hard, at least I didn't make it worse," Patricia thinks to herself.

This made her wonder what was wrong with her.

Her life has been a blur.

She is becoming disillusioned with reality.

Is she just dreaming and trying to escape reality.

Or is this really true?

"Well, whether it was a dream or a true occurrence. Just don't overthink it and have fun with it "Patricia questioned herself.
