Narrator: Grey Zoria.
The water is warm, increasing my body's temperature rapidly and relaxing me to the point that I want to fall asleep although I just woke up.
"That damn dream came to me again." Staring at the roof idly, I asked myself loudly "Just what does it mean, who are these people and what does that blue…" Once I remembered it my body began to tremble in fear, and I felt like if my heart will jump out of my chest.
I put my hand on my pounding heart as my breath became harder and harder. "Calm down, Grey. Calm down." I tried to calm myself down "It's just a dream. It's just a dream. It's just a dream."
I repeated it multiple times until my body stopped trembling and I calmed down a bit.
'Although I was never afraid of fire, each time I remember these blue flames I lose even the ability to walk properly. What the hell is going on?' I thought to myself.
"Sir Grey. It's been 30 minutes since you came in." I heard the maid's voice from outside the bathroom.
'It's been 30 minutes already?!'
"Coming out now." I said.
Immediately I went out of the pool and started to wear the clothes on the small table.
The clothes were simple. The trousers were black and comfy, although it was slim it wasn't handcuffing my legs, I think I can even run a marathon while wearing it. For the top, there was a white shirt with long sleeves, its sleeves were neither tight nor loose and a dark green sleeveless T-shirt.
After wearing my clothes, I went out of the bathroom and found the maid still standing next to the door.
"Sorry for making you wait," I said with a smile that didn't reach my eyes, after a few seconds of thinking. I never had a maid or even saw one, so I don't know how to treat one. I decided to talk normally at the end, but I hope it won't make any problems in the future.
"There's no need for apologizing, Sir Grey. It's my duty to serve you." She said with a serious face making me understand that what I did was completely abnormal.
"Okay, then. I won't apologize next time." I said, realizing my mistake.
"Now it's time for breakfast, Sir Grey. Please, follow me." The maid said, bowing.
"No, we will have to go to the room first." I said pointing with my thump behind me, to the direction of my room, if I can call it that.
"Yes, Sir Grey."
The maid raised her head and walked to my room with me following.
After moments the maid was standing next to the door bowing slightly. Entering the room, I got Bo from the dressing table.
When I first came to the room, I put him here. Because you know he shouldn't see what I was doing.
"Did you enjoy being alone?" I said with a smile that didn't reach my eyes.
"You finally remembered me, and the first thing you do is mocking me!" Bo shouted at me, but I ignored him.
"S-sir Grey. Is there any need…. for a sword?"
The maid's confident face faded and was replaced with a frightened one alongside a trembling voice.
"Don't worry. It's not like I will attack anyone." I gave a dry smile, to reassure her.
"But Sir Grey"
"Will you just keep me in your hand like this or what, kid?" Bo said with a hint of mockery. "Your sweat will cover my grip."
"So, what should I do."
Raised an eyebrow, I raised Bo in front of my face meeting the eye on his guard.
I could see the maid's confused expressions from behind Bo, but I pay to attention to her.
"Choose a comfortable place in your body to place me. I will form a sheath for myself."
If I remember correctly, the sheath is a piece of leather or any other material that covers a sword or a knife.
People swordsmen use it to prevent the blade from cutting anything when they are outside of a fight.
I try different positions to find the best place for the sheath.
I finally place Bo on my back diagonally with his grip behind my right shoulder.
"I guess that will do it."
Hearing me, Bo jumps into action. The white color of mana fills my vision as it dances in the air. The mana starts to gather around Bo's blade covering it completely.
A white sheath began to form around him until it completely covered the blade.
The sheath wasn't very different from Bo himself. It has the same white color and the same texture as if made from the same material. The only noticeable difference is the edges.
And there was what looked like a white flexible belt. It rested on my right shoulder to the top of my left leg.
That belt tied me to Bo which will make it much easier to carry him around.
I whistle out loud, admiring Bo's work.
"This will make it easier carrying you around."
I smile widely looking at the sheath. Now I will not have to carry Bo in my hand anymore.
I look at the maid to find that she regained her composure and is standing like she was standing moments ago. She stood next to the door giving me enough space to pass.
"I guess I'm ready now."
The maid nodded and asked me to follow her, and I did so.
As I followed her, I noticed that the atmosphere was tense, probably because she is still afraid of me holding a sword.
I don't know traditions here, but it looks like I'm not allowed to hold a sword in a mansion, however, I need Bo, so I will stick to him.
At first, I thought of talking to her, but I decided to leave things as it is and to just go eat breakfast normally.
We finally reached a wide double door coated with red wool decorated with thin golden runes. In the middle, there was a large symbol. Although I refer to both with the same word this symbol was very different from the magical symbols.
The magical symbols looked like letters or numbers in a way, however, this symbol looks more like a logo used by a group of people.
It was an eagle with a shining red feather in an attacking position, ready to hunt its prey. The eagle was surrounded by a circle of golden magical symbols. The logo was drawn on both doors, causing it to be cut in half when the door was opened.
The inside of the room was decorated with red curtains on both sides, covering large glassy windows. The floors were covered with carpets that are giving a soft feeling when stepping on them.
In the middle of the room, there was a huge dining table enough surrounded by at least 12 chairs.
Gerrard was sitting on the second chair from the left with Nuri sitting on the first chair on the right. I bet Gerrard left the chair in front of Nuri for me on purpose.
Wait for a second! Why is Nuri here?
I don't know when the breakfast is served normally, but I'm pretty sure it is not served at about 1 P.M.
I know that Gerrard is eating now because he was waiting for me, but why did Nuri wait exactly? Is it possible that she waited for me? No, it doesn't make any sense, she has no reason to wait for me.
I sit next to Gerrard, which makes me in front of Nuri. In front of me, there are all kinds of luxurious food, but I already lost my appetite.
The atmosphere was very tense between me and Nuri, it was obvious on her face that she wanted to say something, but she stayed silent. It was the same for me.
We both stayed like this for a couple of minutes, each side waiting for the other to start talking.
"G-Grey."
Nuri finally breaks the silence with hesitation, but I interrupt her.
"I KNOW." I slammed my hand on the table as I stood up. I looked down at the table not wanting to show her my face.
"I know what you want to say. You are in an unfamiliar place, you were arrested, threatened, and about to die. I brought you here without your permission and put you in all this danger."
I shouted unable to look at Nuri's face, tears began to form in the corner of my eyes blurring my vision.
"I know you are mad at me, and you have every right to hate me. "
I didn't give Nuri a chance to talk. I didn't want to hear her cursing me.
The tears at the corner of my eyes began to flow on my cheek. Not wanting anyone to see me cry I took off Bo's sheath and placed it on the table, before running out of the dining room and going to my room.
I saw maids looking at me with different expressions as I ran, but I couldn't care less.
The first thing I did after entering my room and closing the room was wiped my tears and sink at my bed.
Since I just woke up, I couldn't sleep but I just wanted to stay alone for now.
