Kazama is tirelessly walking forward, to get out of the Kingdom, the sun is also shining brightly.
Amidst this Kazama stops and yells "why the hell am I walking in this very hot day?"
He further thinks "if I just have taken a ride, or rode with anyone then I could have reduced my wasting of energy"
Saying this he sighs.
It's normal for him to get angry as it was very hot and not even a single ride got spotted by Kazama since he exited that alley.
Finally after walking for a little while Kazama soon reached the outskirts of the Kingdom.
He says "fuu.…finally I got here"
With determination in his eyes he starts searching for the plant.
Kazama bends over and checks every single plant, grass, everything with his bare hands in hope of finding the plant.
He is doing it diligently but one hour had passed and Kazama still hadn't found that plant.
He speaks "argh.…when will I find it?"
"Where can it be?"
He stood up, shuts his eyes for a minute, then again start checking the landscape.
Kazama goes through a big portion of land while smoothly frisking every plant but to no avail can he find that plant.
He thinks "I am tired now.…" he sighs and says "..I should rest a little bit".
Saying this he lays down, thinking every possible next move he can do.
While all this he suddenly gets a notification from the system and upon reading it he is flustered as well as he is a little bit confused.
He says "whoa.….now what the hell does it mean?".
The notification says :-
"Yohlo Sub-Quest"
"Prevent the destruction of the field from monsters"
"Reward : • new information about the creasey Tricase plant"
"Failure : • new information about the creasey Tricase plant will be lost and it will impact the main quest of finding the plant"
"Will you accept it?"
"[Yes] or [no]"
Kazama upon reading it thinks deeply "whoa….now it's a Sub-Quest and it will impact the main quest"
"Hm.….ohh ok I will accept it, not that there is any choice as I need to complete the quest as soon as possible"
So Kazama accepts the quest and just as he accepted it, a sudden shaking of ground takes place and he is stunned by this sudden event.
He speaks "is it an earthquake?" and he tries to reach a suitable place void of any tall tree but soon the shaking stopped and Kazama sighs saying "whew.…it stopped pretty quickly.…but again what was it?"
Trying to think it through he hears a loud voice screaming for help.
The voice said "help.…someone please help me..."
Kazama hears it and started running in the direction from where it was coming.
Kazama was running with all his might and after a little while he finally reached the place from where it was coming.
Kazama reached a place such that it was leading to three different directions and there were more bushes along with tall trees and this place was kind of entrance of a deep and dense forest.
Kazama stops and tries to discern the right direction where he should move to as his final step and he again hears the screaming, upon hearing it he instinctly jumps across the bushes.
Just as Kazama lands he saw that a large number of monsters were gathered there and they all were ready to devour a living child who was up against a tree screaming for help.
Kazama makes eye contact with the boy and the boy's eyes were asking for help from Kazama.
He thinks "this boy wants my help but....how in the world can I save him from this big hourd of monsters"
He further thinks "but no matter what.… I need to do everything in my power to make a chance for that boy to quickly leave this place safely"
Just when Kazama jumped across the bush and landed, he already diverted the attention of the monsters towards him.
[These monsters were some type of mutated dogs, they were big in size and more stronger with sharper teeths and a single - not so long - horn coming out of their forehead. The horn is basically black in colour but it can vary according to the mutation.]
Landing and drawing attention of all the monsters, Kazama thinks "now I am finished.….I just did what I needed to avoid"
He is in tension as all the monsters started coming closer to him.
When he attracted all of their attention he speaks to the monsters in a soft voice while stepping backwards "hey.…c...come on let's talk, let's first introduce ourselves"
Just through these words we can understand that the monsters are really far above Kazama's pay grade here but he doesn't run away and tries to access the situation calmly.
Among all this scene he had forgotten that there was a boy whom monsters had attacked and now he don't know if he is fine or not.
Kazama speaks "hey... where are you?"
He tried to peek at the boy to see his condition but when he sees that boy he is amazed as that boy wasn't human.
[In this world where Kazama is, there exists many things different from Kazama's previous world and one of them is that here exists more species than humans.
There are fairies, demons, etc and all but that boy was one of different type, from different species, he was human-like but his powers differ him from humans as he can float in air, can use magic naturally and above all his species is different from humans.
That boy's species name is Grerhard and his name is Sam Grerhard. In this world there are more than 1 species and so more sub - species in species, therefore surname of these creatures represent their species while their first name is their individual name.
They all have their special powers/abilities which are not present in humans or if present they have it by nature like they are born with it but humans acquire it through different things or occurences.]
When Kazama saw that boy, he can't believe his eyes as a radiant energy was seeping out from that boy, acting as a barrier.
Kazama thinks "is he from some other species?... I think so"
And Kazama talks to that boy saying "hey boy.….don't worry I got it and soon I'll rescue you from here and you'll be safe.…so till then sit tight".
Saying this Kazama makes up his mind that even if he is from some other species, Kazama will save him and so Kazama starts thinking of a way to solve the situation quickly.
Kazama suddenly shouts at the monsters "come at me all at once" saying this all monsters were agitated by his shouting and they rushed at him.
Now what will Kazama do? Did he thought of a plan or was it a desperate measure?
