Wedding Hall
Beside me right now there was a woman wearing a white wedding dress, standing with a smile that looked forced to welcome the guests who congratulated us on our wedding.
That woman was the same woman I met at the cafe when I escaped from the wedding hall. The woman I called a kid, but in the end I made her my impromptu wife.
Surprise? Of course, I would never think that it would end up like this.
Previously
At the cafe near the wedding hall
After I allowed her to drink my drink, I found a peace because the girl beside me was now quiet again and was busy drinking the cold milk. The two of us didn't speak for a while.
However, my composure was disturbed again by her who again called me. This time it was no longer uncle, so I didn't have to pull out the fangs again.
"Mister... What's your name?" asked the woman whose name I didn't know.
She was right. We had shared drinks and nicknames as uncle and kid. But, I didn't know her name.
"What for?" I asked suspiciously and he rolled her eyes in boredom.
"Damn kid," I cursed inwardly.
"Geez, you are very suspicious. I'm just asking for the name, why are you scared like I'm asking for your account password. Don't you know if there is a saying 'if you don't know about someone then you can't care of that person'," she said and drank back the milk until finished.
"Tsk.... For your information, I don't like getting to know with a kid." I replied evasively.
I felt strange with my mouth why did I feel that I didn't mind at all replying to every word she said. I also felt that I was comfortable with her presence.
"Tsk.... kid! Don't you know that now a kid can produce kids. And don't think of me as a kid, because I'm already 20 years old, you know. I'm also a final student who has taken the oral exam and just waiting for my graduation," she explained frontal and length after squeaking blatantly fearlessly at me.
"See.... Still a kid." I continued to tease her and with a disgruntled she just looked at me with a face just as scornful as mine.
"And See.... You are really an uncle, if you consider a 20 years old as a child, Uncle."
Checkmate
Damn.... This was the first time I found a woman who was not fascinated and submissive with my good looks that women always praised. And to be honest, the woman in front of me was the first woman who dared to argue with me.
So far I had always been chased by women and never chased after women. That was the reason why I got sarcastic with what I said to women.
"Tsk, this kid-
"Oh my God. Not anymore," she mumbled sounding terrified, as she saw outside the cafe several well-built men who seemed to be busy talking.
"What's the matter?" I asked curiously.
She looked at me pleadingly again, making me instantly feel bad.
"Mr. Handsome. Please help me, hide me from the bad guys out there. Really, I'm just a weak kid who doesn't have more money to pay off debts," she explained in a pitiful tone, even she wasn't ashamed to admit herself as a kid.
I fell silent thinking about it. Of course, I felt sorry if a weak woman like her had to be beaten up by those muscular men. But what could I do? Should I lend her money, so that she could get out of debt?
"Oh no, what should I do?" She mumbled again in panic, even standing up from her seat and intending to leave the cafe. Then, suddenly a crazy idea popped into my head, I also stood up and pulled her to the other door avoiding the men after paying for the milk I ordered.
"Follow me," I ordered and grabbed her hand to follow my lead.
"Mr..., where are we going?" She asked in a small whisper.
"Be quiet," I replied without turning my head.
We left the cafe, after I slung the jacket I was wearing over her shoulder and pulled it off without looking back.
"Stay calm," I mumbled and this time she just complied, muttered softly and held my hand tighter.
After that we walked away from the cafe as calm as possible. I took her to my wedding hall, entered the family room as well as the bride's dressing room and luckily there was still a makeup artist sitting inside.
Bang!
"Oh my gosh! Glenn, where have you been? Who is he? Why-
"Mom, dress her up and put her in a wedding dress. I don't know how but the wedding has to take place today."
"What!"
Present time
So, here I was standing side by side with her. At first my parents did not approve. Even the woman who was now my wife didn't want to and tried to run away. But, when I threatened her with the muscular men out there, she immediately fell silent and went in to sit quietly in the chair provided.
I also convinced my parents, if the woman who I just knew her name was Aileen because her name was mentioned at the wedding ceremony, would be my last woman.
Yes.... Though I had to lie about this one.
But what was clear, today I didn't need to see my parents especially my mother to be embarrassed.
"Tsk."
I turned my head immediately when my ears heard the irritated squeaking of my impromptu wife, who was standing with her legs swaying like hot worms.
"What is it?" I asked in a whisper.
Aileen turned to me and showed a tired expression.
"Glenn, I am tired. When do we take a break?" Aileen asked with a sad face, making me secretly smile in my heart.
I pretended to snort, then put on a scary face at her and her reaction was enough to make me almost chuckle.
"Geez, you are so weak.... Be patient and hold on for a moment. It won't be much longer. Just about seven hours more," I replied with a nonchalant shrug.
"What! You got to be kidding me," Aileen shouted in her shrill voice.
But fortunately, the bustling party atmosphere did not make us the center of attention anymore like in the cafe earlier.
I snorted again, this time it was really a snort because her ultrasonic sound was able to make my eardrums ring instantly. Her voice beat the music in the building, because at that moment she screamed near my ear canal.
"Aish! What a bad luck. Having an impromptu wife and her voice is booming like this," I cursed inwardly.
"Tsk, Ai. I'm also tired, sit down then stand up and sit down then stand up again. Please hold on. I'll order a glass of chocolate milk later for you, one big glass," I pleaded insincerely and miraculously she nodded, answering me with an enthusiastic tone.
From here I noted, that my impromptu wife turned out to be a fan of chocolate milk. This was easy. I could persuade her with a chocolate milk if one day I asked for a divorce from her.
"Really? A super jumbo mug, Glenn? You have promised! So don't take your words back. I don't want anything else," Aileen said threateningly, with narrowed eyes that looked funny in my eyes, until I didn't realize I chuckled and nodded, with my hand suddenly rubbing her head.
"Yeah, yeah," I answered in a bored tone.
But there was something strange, why did Ai look at me
