Blade told her that he needed to speak with Hunter before he could give her a decision. However, Hunter was still out, and it could be hours before he got back, and by then, it would already be late and dark outside.
So, Mallory did something she never thought she would do; she snuck out when she overheard Blade watching his favorite show on the TV.
She quietly crawled past through the living room and into the hall, where she unlocked the door and slid outside without making a single noise.
Mallory was dressed in all black, and her hair pulled back into a cap.
