Haniya was making lunch when Moon entered the kitchen. Haniya swallowed. In the morning, she placed an ice cube on the neck of Moon. Then she went into the room and closed the door. She did not know what happened outside. Now it seemed that Moon would take his revenge. She looked frighteningly at Moon who was taking a bottle of water out of the fridge.
"May he forget about the morning." She began to pray in her heart. This often happened. Exactly one hour after the fight, Moon used to forget everything and came to play with her. After all, he had only one sister. He loved his sister very much.
"Where's the glass gone?" Moon muttered. He couldn't find the glass. Haniya quickly looked around, found the glass, and gave it to Moon. Moon glared at her, grabbed the glass, and sat down at the small dining table in the kitchen.
"Oh thank god, his anger has cooled down, otherwise he would have taken revenge yet." Haniya calmed down and started cooking. Then suddenly a drop of hot oil flew and fell on her arm.
"Ahh." She screamed and backed away. Moon, hearing her voice, moved towards her.
"What's the matter, Hani?" He approached her and asked anxiously.
"My arm …" she sobbed and cried.
"What happened to the arm?" He looked at her arm where the oil had turned into a blister. He felt his sister's pain from the bottom of his heart.
"Hot oil has fallen on my arm." She looked so innocent when she was crying.
"Oooh … don't cry. It'll be fine. You sit here." He consoled Haniya like an elder brother and brought her to the dining table.
"Where is burnol?" He asked quickly.
"There." Haniya pointed to a cabinet and he hurried to it.
"I annoy my brother so much but he cares about me." She smiled. Moon brought the Burnol tube and began to put it on her arm.
"But no matter how good you are, I can never stop myself from bothering you." She thought with a devilish smile and extended her hand to ruin Moon's hair. Moon stared at her, inhaling angrily.
" This is for the morning you bothered me. God has punished you for it."
"Really?" Haniya asked in surprise.
"Yes," he said.
"Well, I won't bother you," she said embarrassingly , but it was hard for her to do so.
"Well Moon, listen." Moon was about to leave the kitchen when Haniya called him.
"What?" He turned to look at Haniya.
"I'm not going to tuition today. You tell Star I am not feeling well."
"But how can I go alone?" He said nervously. The morning scene has appeared in front of his eyes.
"Are you a little kid who can't go without me?" she said wearily.
"If you don't go with me, I'll tell Star you're doing that on purpose," he threatened.
"No, please. My arm hurts. I can't read," she said, making excuses. Moon had to obey her.
...…..
Today Asfar had reached Karachi from Islamabad. Mr. Imran and Arfa had come to meet him. Star did not come. When asked by Maria, Arfa had said that she was busy in study. That's why she couldn't come. Asfar was upset to hear this. He came to Karachi after a long time. It didn't even matter to Star that she would leave study and visit him. He got up with a bad heart and went to his room. The elders from behind started discussing their marriage.
...….
Moon, who was in a predicament as to how he would face Star, saw her in front of him as soon as she opened the door. He was startled. Star had never opened the door before. Most of the maid used to open the door or Arfa Auntie. He didn't know why she suddenly came in front of him today. He was frightened by the vision of the morning incident. Star looked at his facial expressions in wonder.
"Aren't you going to greet me?"
"Peace be upon you … Star!" Moon immediately greeted her.
"Peace be upon you. Should I have to give a special invitation to you for coming inside?" she raised her eyebrows.
"No." He hurried inside.
"Where is haniya?" Star asked sternly.
"She is unwell," he said without looking at her. Star became angry.
" Go and sit on the terrace." She ordered to moon and walked through door to the other portion.
Haniya knew that Star would not let her off so easily , So she had already made all the preparations. At that moment, she was lying on the bed in her room like a patient. There were artificial symptoms of pain on her face.
When Star opened the door of her room, she opened her eyes and looked at Star.
"Star!" she called star with a crying face.
"What happened to you?" Star approached her.
"I have a headache and feeling dizzy. My blood pressure seems to have gone down," she said like an old woman. Star stared at her sharply, grabbed her wrist, and checked her pulse. Her heartbeat was fine, but before she could notice, Star's sight caught of the wound on her arm.
"What is this?"She asked anxiously
"The hot oil burned my arm. It hurts a lot." Star feeled sorry for her.
"All right. You rest today." Star said and turned to go. Haniya smiled happily from behind. When Star remembered something, she turned to her, and Haniya's smiling lips shut rapidly and her face became as weak as before.
"I think the pain will go away after a while. So tomorrow you have to take the chemistry test. Get ready." She gave the order and left. Haniya grimaced. All fun went worse.
...
"Haven't you started studying yet?" Star asked fumingly. He turned at star's voice.
" Where is auntie?" He was also very close to arfa because she loved him more than Tania. Whenever he came here, Arfa used to make French fries for him.
"She's gone," Star said carelessly.
"You mean, you are alone?" he was strangely nervous.
"No, you are with me." Star said. Moon's heart was pounding with joy at her words. The lips smiled involuntarily. Star narrowed her eyes and looked at him with staring eyes.
"Why is that smile?" she asked sarcastically. Moon came into his senses.
"No. I'm not smiling." He pursed his lips. In doing so, he looked very cute. Star smiled.
"Sit down and revise the lesson. I'll be right back," she said and headed for her room. Moon looked around and took a deep breath as if trying to free itself from the spell of star.
"Why are you so beautiful?" He asked Star in his heart, sat down on the chair and began to read unwillingly. After a while, Star came out of the hall to the terrace and sat on the chair in front of Moon. She also had a book which she began to read with passion. Moon looked at her for an instant and stared at the book, started biting his lip. He wanted star to talk to him as she used to, but now she would talk only when she needed to.
"Star!" After a while, he finally called Star.
"Hmm." Star said in a busy mode.
"Sorry …" he was embarrassed.
"For what?" Star looked up and saw him. When his wide eyes collided with Moon's black eyes, time stopped still for a moment. There was a mysterious gleam in Moon's eyes while confusion appeared in Star's eyes. Before she could know Moon's heart secret, he quickly turned his eyes away.
"For what happened this morning." He winced.
"I think I have punished you for your mistake. Now you don't have to apologize," her face expressions went blank.
"So you're not angry with me?" He asked happily. Star looked at his innocent face interestingly.
"No." She said and Moon beamed.
Meanwhile, the sound of the phone ringing came from Star's room. She got up and walked towards the room. There was a call from Asfar. Star picked up the call.
"Why didn't you come to see me?" He fumed.
"Did I have to meet you?" Star answered.
"You are my fiance," Asfar asserted.
"So, I don't think it's necessary for us to meet." She rejected Asfar's argument.
"But I want to see you now. I'm standing outside your house. Come and open the door." He insisted. Star went furious.
" What are you doing here? Go back. I can't meet you." She didn't want to meet him.
"But I can meet you." Asfar ignored her and hung up.
"hello … Asfar." She shouted in a low voice. Then she removed the phone from her ear and started calling him again.
"Oh god. If Moon saw Asfar, what would he think of me?" She muttered anxiously. She knew what she was for Moon. She was his ideal. Moon always followed her. Now, if he saw Asfar with Star, the image of Star in his eyes would be tarnished which she did not want at all. After some thought, she left the room and glanced at Moon through the glass wall of the lounge. Her back was visible from here. Star sneaked to the stairs and came down. She had just opened the front door when Asfar came across her. He seemed very good-looking in a brown shirt and blue jeans. He came in front of her after so long but Star's heartbeat did not stop or increase. At that moment, the feeling of anger was overpowering everything.
"How did you get in?" she asked in a stern tone, staring at Asfar.
"By jumping off the wall," Asfar said happily.
"What if someone sees?"
"So? You're my fiance."
"But not everyone knows this ." Sparks were coming out of her eyes. Asfar was shocked to see her rude behavior.
"What happened Star?" Asfar said, trying to hold her shoulders but Star backed away. Then he took a deep breath and wanted to cool himself down.
"Go," she said coldly. Asfar also got angry. He moved quickly towards her. But he had to stop.
"Star …!" It was the voice of Moon. He had probably reached the top of the stairs. Star looked up in fear and then to Asfar.
"Please go from here."
"Who is he?" Asfar looked at her suspiciously.
"He is Moon." Asfar was satisfied. He also considered Moon as a little and innocent child.
"Where did Star go?" Moon began to descend the stairs. Star looked at Asfar with wide eyes.
