Chapter 12 - Twenty Month Agreement

A summary of the terms presented in this contract is as follows:

By signing this document, party (a) (Fitzwilliam Darcy) and party (b) (Elizabeth Bennet) hereby agree to wed and will remain married for a period of twenty months.

During these twenty months neither party (a) nor party (b) are to stray from the appearance of their wedding vows. If party (a) fails to hold this end, party (b) is entitled to a full payout of this contract ($10,000,000) and the marriage will be dissolved. If party (b) fails to hold this end party (b) will not receive funds discussed ($10,000,000)  and the marriage will be dissolved.

Party (a) and party (b) will share a residence (of their choosing) both are entitled to separate bedrooms, and the marriage does not have to be consummated (unless both parties agree to do so)

At the twenty month mark the marriage will be dissolved citing irreconcilable differences.

Party (b) may not profit from disclosing the terms of this agreement to the press. Any and all attempts will result in denial of the existence of this agreement and a lawsuit for slander.

Upon the birth of the child a DNA analysis will be ordered.

Depending on outcome of DNA analysis:

Education expenses as well as a trust fund (only accessible to party (c ) upon his/her twenty-first birthday) will be set aside.

Party (c) will take the Darcy last name.

Custody of party (c) will be shared.
