The first goblin dies with a stab wound through its neck. The second one dies by a sword pierced through its heart. The third one dies coughing out blood from its mouth , it looked down towards its chest . It gasped at the sight of its stomach being cut open , its guts spewing out from within .
The fifth and sixth goblin pulled back their bow strings trying to fight back . Both of them perished , their head pierced through by a throwing knife. In their last moment of consciousness all they see is blood dripping down their head.

After running through the forest searching for clues as to where the screams originated. I've found several burnt marks on the trees surrounding a path leading towards the center of the forest. Vegetations cut down short swords , arrows impaled on the trees .
The smell of blood and burnt wood filled the air. The closer I'd have gotten to the source of all this signs , next to a cross winding trees I found a bloodied corpse of a small figure. Its unlike the monsters I've fought before . Its green skin matched the forests vegetation . Its small figure reminded me that of a small child . Its lack of hair around its body . This creature resembles a human yet different at the same time.
" Elise , is this one of the goblins you've found traces of ?"

" These burnt marks I've found in the areas near the path and the burnt state the goblin corpse was in , they must be a result of fire ."
" Yet as shown by these burnt flesh , its as if the source of the fire appeared in front of them , then proceeded to explode sending its flames into one direction towards the goblin ."

" Let me guess , that meant that the goblins are chasing after a mage ."
" Based on the mana level needed to cast a simple fire spell , and the amount of burns inflicted on the surrounding area , the mage should have cast at least 12 to 15 fire spells ?"

" How much mana does this so called mage have to cast 12 to 15 simple fire spells ?"

" The mage should be at least better then a low class mage , how come despite having ample amounts of mana and spells at their disposal yet he or she is running away from a small group of goblins ."

" Looks like I'll get my answer soon enough ."
Dashing though the forest at high speeds following the sounds of screaming lead Jin towards the site where he found five goblins surrounding a girl presumably the mage he was looking for . The goblins had put her on a tough spot , closing in of her for the kill.
As the leader of the goblins pulls out his knife to slit her throat . Before they get a chance to go in for the kill Jin rushed in deflecting its sword then proceeded to cut of its hand . In the heat of the moment he took advantage of their confusion to finish of their group one by one they fell one after the other. They all fell prey to his arms , despite their meager effort to fight back they were all massacred on the spot.
That's when the hunter became the hunted.

" Sorry but I mostly prefer to hunt alone , plus I don't have much connection with the other groups nor teams ."

" Then how about we form a party of our own ."
" I assume your class is either a thief or or a warrior am I right ?"

" Yes your right , I'm a warrior ."
Anri
" Then lets form a party , as you can see I'm a mage class ."
" My class are not suited for hunting alone , I need a reliable teammate to support and protect me while I'm casting my spells. "
" Plus it will be beneficial if we both team up to clear the dungeon ."
" Also I wanted to repay you for saving me , so the loot we get from clearing the dungeon and from the monster hunting will be given to you ."
" Well , how bout it ?"

" Then since we're reached an agreement lets add each other right away ."

" Huh , its unfortunate , we were hunting in the goblin area for quite sometime to level up a whole bunch ."
" But just a few hours after grinding the levels , the new comers of our team wanted to travel deeper into their territory , they are dissatisfied with grinding low level mobs for what feels like an eternity , since they make the majority of the team , they decided to ignore my warning and delved deeper into the goblin territory. "
" At first , we just encountered several small groups of goblins although they increase in numbers , they weren't much of a threat for our team ."
" Things were going smoothly until we encounter a Hobgoblin ."
" They are bigger and stronger than the others we've seen ."
" But that's all they thought ."
" Just one Hobgoblin isn't enough to defeat us they say ."
" The new comers of our party were blinded by their arrogance and greed for the money they can get from selling the drops they get from hunting the Hobgoblin ."
" Because of that they didn't realized that its not just an ordinary Hobgoblin but a powerful variant ."
" A normal Hobgoblin is equal to a D rank at best , however this variant has powers equal to that of a C rank warrior ."
" Even with all of us combined we were no match for it ."

Anri wiped her tears of her face and came back to being her usual self . All she needed was a little pat on the back to encourage her and to comfort her on her moment of grief and confusion.
