For day and night our troops. Prepare themselves for the upcoming fight. The intense anxiety fill the air.
The enemy is going to attack from all four cardinal directions. With infantry, backed by armoured half trucks.
While they will concentrate their main armour division to the West. Were it's dense trees blocked our sight of incoming attack. And the only paved road, that leads directly to the top of the hill.
We must defend this hill at all cost. If not all those brave soldiers who risked their lives up to this point would have been for naught.
The commander Rallied the soldiers in the main bunker for a few words. After a few words of encouragement. He signalled the group leaders to stay for a moment.
He told us that the reinforcement will arrive at 1800 hours. However because we couldn't hold on for that long without some kind of support. He managed to call in air support.
The air support will arrive at the area at 1200 hours at high noon. But until then we are on our own.
Thanks to the preparations, we managed to mine the entire road up the hill. Now we no longer have to worry about armoured vehicles. How ever even with all of that I doubt we will be able to stop a tiger tank.
The tiger tank is the most dangerous tank in the entire war. Just one tank can wipe out an entire armoured battalion. With its 88 millimeter gun.
The armour is plated with reinforced alloy. Which means normal artillery shells will just bounce off it. And that their equip with heavy machine gun, we won't even be able to get close to it.
However regardless, the tiger tank is vulnerable to air bombardment. So when the planes get here it will be our victory . Lets hope that there won't be a tiger tank present on the battlefield.
Because if it does appear, most of us wouldn't survive until the planes arrive. So we were betting on the chance that there would be no tiger tanks will be present on the field.
We ran back to our assigned positions. And waited for the enemy attack. Then it came at 1030 hours.
The enemy started shelling the hill. We immediately ran for the bunkers. Waiting for the barrage to end.
When the barrage end, the enemy infantryman came charging in. Wave upon wave of their infantry charged up the hill assaulting the hill.
The machine gunners fired down the hill with everything they've got. I stayed in my bunker and started shooting the enemy with my new sniper rifle.
"bang, bang, bang" .
The sound of gunfire covered the hill. The smoke from burning enemy vehicles that drove unto out land mines. And the stench of blood and gunpowder filled the air.
Bullet after bullet I fired. The enemy keep coming. Again and again, they are relentless.
With each bullet I fired one enemy. Lies death with a bullet inside their skull. Without missing a single beat, I continually fired my gun and enemy corpses started to pile up into mountains high.
I'm starting to ran out of ammunition. So I'd decided to run towards the main bunker for more ammunition.
The enemy suddenly stopped coming. I had bad feeling about this.
Suddenly as I was running to the main bunker the enemy launched a massive artillery barrage. The shell exploded besides me. It threw me to the air.
I fell into the muddy grounds next to my dead comrades. What has happened? Why I couldn't feel my legs? Why my body feels numb? Why?
When did it became like this? I thought it was supposed to go along like the story. There should be a huge wave of attack then it finishes.
There wasn't supposed to be another strike like this. They are supposed to be dead nor sent somewhere else. Why is this happening.
Was I ment to die here? But these feels off. Why? Why? Why?
Suddenly I saw myself. In an endless sea. Floating around without care in the world.
And there it was . The system finally awoken.
In the midst of chaos. Through hardships and bloodshed. I was acknowledged by the system as it's owner.
It gave me a choice. Either to continue my path. Or to change the entire course of the world.
Without a shred of hesitation ,I choose the later. Then time reminded itself. Back to the last point. Just before I ran out of the bunker.
It gave me a notification stating. Earned an achievement.

When one is awaken by thyself not by anothers will. Through bloodshed and power.
Now I can run across time and space. Although in its early stages, it can only slightly manipulate space. It's more than enough to dodge bullets.
As I went back into reality. I continue my steps towards the enemy. In every shot the enemy fired at me. A momentary pause in space and time allowed me to dodge every single bullet and fire from the enemy.
And thus I took to the battlefield. I slaughtered every last one of them. Things was looking better for me.
Then the effects of the system wore of. I breathe a big sigh of relief, knowing I have killed the enemies.
Suddenly a loud noise shook the ground. A monstrous enemy has appeared. The worst fear of the soldiers.
The Tiger tank has appeared on the battlefield. The men could do nothing but run as it tore them to shreds.
Suddenly as the tank appeared. The system, gave me it's first actual task. To destroy the tiger tank.
It stated that a fragment of the system is within the tiger tank. To upgrade the system, to unlock new abilities. I must get that piece.
I wondered how am I supposed to do that? Then I realised that the answer was easy. I just have to cripple it's movements and destroy it from the inside. Just like in the game.
I grabbed a big chunk of explosive and ran towards the tank. I jumped behind it and stuck the explosive into its chains. And blew up its gear chain. Causing it to stop in its track.
I climbed up from behind and opened the tank hatch. I shot the driver and the crew dead on site. Inside I found a glowing piece. Turns out it was a piece of the system.
Now that the system is upgraded. More upgrades and information are available. I pulled a grenade pin throw it towards its engine and climbed out into the open.
As the tank exploded in a blaze of fire. The soldiers look back and see in aw. I just single handedly won the battle. Before the reinforcement even arrived to help.
In a shout of victory they shouted my name. Into the sky , cheering for the big victory.
When they gathered what remains of the troops. There was only the five of us left. The rest are lying dead amongst their fellow comrades.
When the rest gathered up. I chose to walk around the battlefield once more. While doing so, I took the liberty of checking the system.
It said that I'm going to get sent to more worlds after I finished the last. When I achieve the greatest end of the story.
Now that the introduction story is almost complete. I can start using the system under my own accord.
