"Maya, please deliver 2 black coffee."
"Right away, sir," Maya answered. Rico called Maya through the intercom connected to his secretary's desk.
10 minutes later there was a knock on the door from outside. Unfortunately, it wasn't Maya who brought the drinks. However, a vicious woman failed to transfer money to her friend because of the presence of a man.
Desia caught her breath before entering the room. Maya, who was assigned to make a cup of coffee, suddenly wanted to go to the toilet. Desia felt a gripping air until the hairs on her neck also swelled. Desia knew there was a pair of eagle eyes that consistently looked at her as if she wanted to swallow her whole from the moment she entered the room until she served the drink on the table.
Rico observed the two humans in front of him. Since when did Dennis who was so rigid and indifferent to all women that he misunderstood the people around him because Dennis was considered a gay man, suddenly he was so interested and didn't blink his eyes at Desia.
"Ehem, please just put it on the table. And, you can go out. Where is Maya?" Rico walked over to Dennis and sat across from him on the soft sofa.
"Yes sir, she was allowed to go to the toilet. Then I'll excuse myself first." Desia raised her lips slightly mockingly at Dennis and stuck out her tongue before hastily leaving the manager's room. Dennis couldn't believe how brave she was. This was the first time a woman dared to mock him openly.
Rico didn't watch the scene for a few seconds because he was enjoying a sip of coffee that Desia made.
"Who is she? Your new secretary?" Finally, Dennis asked out of curiosity.
"Desia? She's an intern secretary. She is still in college so her working hours are from a day up to night. She is very competent and hardworking. That's why she was accepted here. Why? Are you interested? Hahahaha.." Rico quipped at the workaholic cousin. Until now it has not been heard who the woman who managed to melt his heart.
No wonder she was still on the road at night. Maybe she's just got home from work, Dennis thought.

The clock shows 18.30. It's time for your loved one to come home from work. Arya as usual waited at the cafe near Dinda's office. Some visitors there, especially women, became more diligent in visiting the cafe because Arya often drank coffee there.
"Excuse me, are you waiting for a friend?" A beautiful, sexy woman in a low-slit shirt and tight skirt invited Arya to meet her.
"Yes, soon my future wife will come." Without expression, Arya continued to write via the stylus pen on her flagship iOs.
"Oh, sorry then." The sexy woman felt insinuated because she was rejected by a handsome man. In the corner of the cafe, 2-3 female friends asked in sign language. The woman shrugged her shoulders as a sign of defeat before fighting.
"Ar, didn't you wait long for me?" Dinda immediately approached Arya who was still focused on her tab.
"No, do you want to drink first or just straight away?" Arya kept her tab in the small black bag she usually carried with her everywhere.
"Just go ahead. Have you paid for the drinks?"
"Done already." Arya stood up and took Dinda's hand out of the cafe. The big soft fist made Dinda feel comfortable every time she was near Arya. Ah, how come I just found out that Arya is this romantic? He used to be a quiet child but suddenly his ignorance recurs when Dinda is near him. The group of women, one of whom had previously held aggressive aggression, stared from a distance without blinking. "Oh, his girlfriend is a 25th-floor girl." One of them joked.
-----
"Eat first." Arya turned the car into a nearby restaurant.
"Yeah, you haven't eaten either, have you? Don't drink coffee, eat regularly Ar. You're a doctor, so you have to understand more about maintaining your health." Dinda's irregular eating pattern has been noticed recently. If not reminded, Arya will forget the time to rest and eat.
"Yes, princess. Let's go down first." Arya and Dinda took off their seat belts and walked hand in hand towards a restaurant that serves Sundanese food.
The table is in the corner with a view of a fish pond studded with decorative lights on it which provides Arya and Dinda's choice of lesehan sitting.
"1 boboko for two, fresh vegetables, fried tofu and tempe, 2 grilled carp, 2 vegetable tamarind, warm sweet tea drink. Anyway, don't forget 2 white crackers, ma'am." The waiter who was standing next to Dinda seriously took down the order that Dinda mentioned.
Arya smiled as she looked at her deftly selecting the menu.
"You know very well my favorite food."
"I know because you always finishing my lunch in the car." Dinda's lips pursed cutely since she remembered that time. The lunch he had prepared was left in Arya's car when Arya picked him up. Due to heavy traffic jams in the morning, Dinda immediately ran out of the car, forgetting her lunch box in the back seat. Be a delicious menu for Dinda's lunch made for breakfast by Arya.
"Hahaha, sustenance isn't going anywhere." Arya laughed out loud remembering that moment. "Your cooking is delicious. I want to taste it every day." Arya smiled mysteriously.
"What's the matter Arya? It looks like you want to say something." Dinda began to feel the aromas of conversation leading to seriousness tonight.
"Let's eat first then let's have a good chat." 10 minutes later the food ordered came. The food that Arya's mother used to cook when Arya came home was now in front of her. In the apartment, Arya is used to eating out or buying food delivery online. There is a kitchen in his apartment but it's more of a formality.
Dinner was over. The used cutlery was set aside before finally being taken by the waiter who had served various foods. While continuing the conversation, Arya ordered two tomato juices to freshen their throats.
"Din, just get to the point, okay. I've asked my parents to propose to you next Saturday. Do you want to accept me as your husband?" Arya looked at Dinda's eyes which suddenly fell silent. Her lips that had been closed slowly opened as her eyes flickered, a sign of people not believing the reality they were facing.
"Arya...you mean...are you serious about proposing to me?" Dinda covered her mouth with her palms and her eyelids began to ooze clear liquid at the corners of her eyes.
Arya stood up, approached Dinda, and sat next to her. Arya held Dinda's hand. "I'm sorry for not being romantic in the way I proposed to you. I don't think we are teenagers anymore who need years of dating. Are you ready to be the wife of a handsome doctor who is popular among women of all ages?" Dinda laughed out loud hearing how high the confidence level of the man in front of her was. The tears didn't stop, they just flowed.
"Arya, don't you regret ending your single life with an ancient woman like me?" After calming herself down, Dinda began to be able to regulate her breathing and speak normally. People who saw them might think that the woman was crying because the man who was with her was dumped by her.
"In fact, I'd regret it if someone proposed to you first. And I'm even more sorry now that I've only seen you again after ten years." Dinda wept, even more, when she heard Arya's statement.
"Please don't cry, people will think I've done anything wrong with you, hehe." Arya wiped the tears that fell on Dinda's smooth cheeks. Girls who have been liked since they were in school, lately it's easy to get moved by any little things that Arya gives.
"So, when do your parents planning to go to my house?" The woman who had been sobbing earlier was now able to control her breathing better.
"Saturday Din, can you? I'll take you home now and talk to your parents, okay?" Dinda nodded and Arya called the waiter and started to settle the payment.
It was almost 9 pm when they left the restaurant. Dinda had called her parents when they were still at the restaurant. Informing that Arya will stop by the house tonight.
There is a man's heart beating fast. Because this is the first time in his life that he will have a serious conversation with the parents of the girl he has longed for. Dinda noticed Arya was quieter on the way home. Arya took several deep breaths, trying to get rid of his nervousness. The woman next to him smiled and held her lover's left hand, trying to calm her heart.
"Don't worry Ar, my parents are not fierce. They get along easily with anyone." Dinda's smile was answered by Arya with a resigned smile. The car arrived in front of Dinda's house. The atmosphere was quiet because apart from being late, the housing was not as busy as housing in general. Arya and Dinda got out of the car and walked hand in hand into the house.
Knock knock....
"Assalamualaikum." Dinda greets first.
"Wa'alaikumussalam." Mother's voice answered from within.
Dinda opened the door and saw that the father and mother were waiting to sit on the living room chairs made of red meranti wood or other names. Red Lauan is more common and easy to find in the forests of Southeast Asia, especially Indonesia.
"Assalamualaikum sir ma'am." This is the voice of Arya going in and greeting by bowing and kissing the back of Dinda's father and mother's hands.
