Chapter 7 - 7. My First Kiss

No idea if it is because Arya has been a single man for so long or if the atmosphere is supportive. Seeing Dinda is only wearing a knee-length short-sleeved nightgown with a simple batik motif has evoked her aura.

"Well, thank you, Arya, for taking Dinda home. Be careful on the road.I'm going in first." Father entered the house and left a young couple in the living room.

"Thank you, Arya. Be careful on the road, don't drive too fast." Still on the terrace under the thick mango trees and half moonlit, Arya and Dinda walked hand in hand. The street in front of the house looked deserted because it was quite late for the size of the complex residents.

"Din, at this time, can I get the answer to my question?" Arya approached Dinda until the girl took a few steps back. Their eyes met without a second blink and tried to find hope between them.

"I...I don't know Ar. You're too...". Dinda turned her face to the side because her cheeks were already flushed with an unusual red color, along with the sound of her heart beating fast. The man in front of him, who was 20 cm tall, was so domineering at that time.

"I love you ..." Arya held both of Dinda's cheeks with one big hand and brought it to her face. A second later, Arya pressed her lips together and kissed Dinda more intensely, with his palms now tightly embracing Dinda's neck.

"Mmmm, Ar...." The boy was very thirsty and ignored the girl's words. They kissed for a long time on the terrace until they finally separated because they were both almost out of breath.

"I'm sorry, I loved you then, now, and forever." Arya pressed his forehead to Dinda's forehead and hugged Dinda tightly even though the girl had not allowed him to.

"Arya ... I, let me go first! It's still at home. My family will see." Dinda tried to rebel.

"So, if it's not at home... can I continue?" A mischievous smile smirked on a handsome face like a Hollywood artist, as Desia described.

"What the hell....you...." Dinda held her lips which was the first time a man had grabbed her for the first time in 27 years of her life. And, he was a friend from high school.

"First time, hmm? Sorry, I took it." Arya held both Dinda's cheeks and pointed at her face until Dinda's face looked up.

"Alright, it's getting late. You should go home." Dinda let go of Arya's hand. A handful of big and soft hands that used to operate on patients were now in his grasp.

"So, we're dating from now on. I'll pick you up from the office tomorrow. Okay?" Arya kissed Dinda's forehead and winked at the girl who was considered his girlfriend just before leaving.

"Yes, be careful." Dinda ran to the room and locked the door from the inside. Her heart was about to jump. Her cheeks turned red, and Dinda held her lips and said softly, "My first kiss."

"Good morning sir, this is a document you need. If you don't need anything else, I'll excuse myself." A file is neatly arranged on Rico's desk by a part-time secretary, a finance manager for one of the largest eCommerce companies in Indonesia.

"Des, have you contacted the personnel department? About a replacement for Mrs. Ariyani, who is on maternity leaving soon." Rico remained focused on typing an email report for the Director of Finance without looking at the other party.

"Yes, sir, it has also been posted on the job search web page. If they have news, they will contact us again." Desia, who is none other than the youngest of 3 siblings, Dinda Dania Desia is currently working as a secretary for the finance manager where she works. At night, she switches professions to become a student chasing a thesis, but there is no sign of finishing because she is lost with her busy work.

"Des, it's time for lunch. Come on. I'm starving, huhuhu..." Kayla, Desia's office mate from a different division, approached Desia, who was still busy typing a meeting resume this morning.

"Wait a minute.... a little more. Okay, let's finish." They went down to the food court in the basement of the building. Their own office is on the 5th floor

The lunch menu they chose this time was Nasi Ayam Penyet, Nasi Sop Iga, and plain hot tea for Desia, who doesn't like cold drinks, and sweet iced tea for Kayla, who likes cold sweet drinks.

"Des, when is your thesis finished? When is the trial?" Kayla idly asked while waiting for their lunch order.

"Come on Kayla. You're just like my sisters. I'm still working on it and chasing after the supervisor. hehehe. But you know me very well. My time is not as free as other students who focus on studying without part-time work." Desia sighed meaninglessly.

"Hmmm...that's why my mother doesn't want her only daughter to work before college ends." Kayla blinked an eye with a mischievous smile.

"Huuu, it's good for you not to think about tuition fees. If I don't work, I don't go to college." The two girls started to eat lunch while chatting here and there.

"You guys eat here too? Can I join? There aren't any empty seats because everywhere except next to each of you." Suddenly Rico, Desia's boss appeared carrying his tray of food.

"Oh, please, sir. The seats are public property, not ours." Kayla shifted her chair further away from Rico and one of his friends, who was an employee from another office.

"Thanks. Come on bro." The four of them sat together.

Desia is really uncomfortable.

"How's your sister?" Rico started asking personal things that Desia was avoiding. This is why Desia doesn't like to linger with this playboy boss—the boss who is the first love of his eldest brother, Dinda. Desia knew accidentally when her sister's diary accidentally opened wide on the bed when the owner was using the toilet.

"Thank God, sir." Not wanting to ask questions that would prolong the conversation, Desia immediately said goodbye with the excuse that she wanted to go to the Automatic Teller Machine Center near the parking exit.

"You know her sister?" Alan, Rico's friend had lunch this time.

"Her sister is one of my high school friends. When I was at school, I was geeky. She has braided hairs in two, and she didn't look fashionable. Any guy would be crazy to see it, hahaha." While shoving rice into his mouth, Rico began to reminisce about the white and gray era.

"But now, incredibly beautiful. Like a caterpillar turning into a butterfly. We met again at the reunion a few days ago." There was a note of regret in Rico's breath as he spoke.

"And, you're sorry now, hahaha," Alan teased.

"That girl is getting smarter and becoming more beautiful. If you are only beautiful, there are many beautiful girls, you will not run out of stock with your looks and wealth." Alan tried to cheer up his only friend in the office.

"I don't know. All women indeed are beautiful. But not all women have a beautiful heart. I only found out after a few dates."

"Where is she now? Still want to find out?" Alan, who had finished eating first, was now enjoying his black coffee while occasionally looking around the cafeteria.

"That's what I was trying to find out from her sister just now. However, now that girl has a boyfriend." Rico smiled bitterly at Alan, to which he replied with a mocking laugh at the man before him like a defeated soldier before the start of the war.

"Just a boyfriend... not married yet."
