With tears in her eyes, Claire nodded slowly, her voice trailing. It was breaking her heart to pieces as she spoke.
"Right now, I don't...but if later was proven by doing another DNA test, then I have no choice. I have to believe you and accept. All I could hope was that you would still have the opportunity to find happiness, whatever the truth might be."
With sorrowful lines on his face, Dr. Lee nodded as well. I believe you are our daughter, Crystal, and not Ava. I had the DNA result to prove it. Do you want to see it?"
"It's okay, Dad; I don't need to see it. If you say it's what happened, then I believe you. However, I still recall those memories that show that I'm Ava Go. What should I do about that?"
