Hwan was throwing a tantrum, and Nurse Eula attempted to soothe him. His distress stemmed from the fact that his mother had not Facetimed them in the past few days.
Meanwhile, Hoon accompanied their Grandma Claire at the beachfront, gathering shells for an art project.
"Hwan, your mother is likely very busy. I'm sure she'll call when she's done with work," Eula reassured him, her voice gentle and comforting.
"Remember what Grandma Claire said? We'll be moving to live with your mommy in Las Vegas soon. Won't that be nice?"
Her soothing tone quickly calmed Hwan down.
"Okay, I believe you. But if Mommy doesn't call after work, I'll do something worse than that company owned by her boss," Hwan declared.
Eula was taken aback. It was the first time she had heard Hwan say something like that.
What could a boy not even four years old do to his mother's boss's company? She wanted to ask, but she feared what Hwan might say.
