I ran about 20 feet before the bear jumped on top of me and I felt it's teeth bite my arm and it's claws scratch my legs.
I keep from scream and pretend to be dead hoping it would stop soon.
It bit my my and scratched my legs a few time while tossing me around before finally leaving me alone.
I got up and tried to heal my arm but then felt the force of the bear knock me down again.
I ended up rolling with the bear down a steep hit and end up hitting a tree while the bear ends up hitting a rock.
It roars out in pain and I see the cub at the top of the hill letting out tiny roars and whines.
I get up grinding my teeth in pain and start to run again but stop myself and look back at the momma bear.
She limps and tries to get up the hill but ended up stepping on the hurt leg and roars before falling down.
I suck in a breath and ignore my brain telling me it's a horrible idea.
I slowly walk up to the huge bear and place my hand softly on it and tried to heal it but the bear didn't realize and hit me with its paw.
I stumbled and fell backwards.
It roared at me and growled so loud that I'm pretty sure the entire woods heard it.
I get back up and put my hand out before trying again and this time when it hit me, my head was slammed into the tree we were leaning against.
It felt like a sumo wrestler was sitting on top of my head and as I tried to get up my legs and arms shook.
I squeezed my eyes shut and tried to think.
How do I get this mama bear to believe I wasn't gonna hurt her, I am only trying heal her.
That's when I felt the bear's breath on my neck.
I looked up slowly and it was on all fours looking at me.
But it didn't look like it was gonna eat me or had any intentions of hurting me.
I don't know how to explain it but I took it as a sign to heal her.
I slowly put my hand out and after a few long seconds the mama bear put her head against it.
I relaxed and closed my eyes before trying to push all of this positive energy and thoughts of healing through my arm and onto the bear.
The mama bear backed away when I put my hand down then looked at her cub before climbing the hill and finally making it.
I sighed and relaxed against the tree.
The mama bear looked back at me once, and it looked like she was saying thank you.
I smiled and closed my eyes.
I didn't realize that I feel asleep til I opened my eyes and I saw 7 teenage looking boys surrounded me.
And I did the only thing I knew.
I ran.
