Mayari's Point of View
"You will pay" I mouthed those words right in front of that guy. I know it's a pretty reckless matter to break into someone's property but hey! At least I made my presence much obvious for him to perceive my intention.
The ladies are taking me away. They are invading my privacy, trying to get my clothes off, and making me wear this white gown. Eventually, I'm wearing it. They seem to be the higher being than anyone living here. Each individual obeys those beings as if they see a God themselves. As for myself, I have no choice. Those people threaten me that I won't be able to eat. Their intuition speaks for them that I'm indeed hungry. However, I'm witty. Adapting to my environment and act like any other person won't be troublesome. I can observe them.
"Let go, peasants. I'll obey you all if you could just let me go." I glanced at them alternatively while straining my hands to lose their grip without any force exerted.
Instantly, the grasp lacked and an opening to escape has been made. Except, before I could run away. A man with a dominating stature tightens his hands to mine. Ready to get us out of this place.
We dashed without minding those people that we bumped. Suddenly, we lost those ladies that are trying to get me away. The place seems to be more spacious than I anticipated. As I am about to run again, he breathes relentlessly exerting air. He reached his hands and pat my back. I peek from behind to see if he is alright.
"Well, this is enough already."
Did I just get fooled once again?
We are cornered. The ladies caught up with us. Unfortunately, a click from a metallic object handicapped my hands and it's been done by this yet another traitor.
I really should not be too gullible around humans anymore or I'll be labeled as far more airhead than they were.
"I'm sorry if I'm doing this to you," a genuine apology came out from his mouth probably the kindest words I received upon exile. His features accented as his face is near mine despite the handcuffs. Tall and angular? Fluffy and puffy strands of hair flopping on each side similar to a Mammatus* clouds. Pristine for a lad that owned such haircut. He glanced back, interrupting mine somewhat? malicious inspection. "You are quite an exceptional lass, possessing exceptional attributes for an Asian woman"
Oho! Every single part of that sentence horrifies me. Like disgustingly crawling in every nerve of my system. Did I just step on another perverted landmine?
Ladies dragged me including him at the back. No God is a proud and self-proclaimed womanizer. Perhaps, Father should be hailing him right now.
Lunchtime. I needed to settle my nerves. Starvation intensifies as the continuous misfortunes multiply each and single day--maybe just hours--ever since lodging on earth. I seek available seats from the ceramic tables outside the facility. My hands are full from the lunch tray that served home-cooked goods.
Before my bum can ever take their sit. I spotted a very well damned guy facing my direction- his stare grimacing grotesquely- to set offense. Promptly, "Nope" I leave that empty seat.
The bathroom turns out to be my solace. A not so maintained place but it'll work. Mortality maximized the wickedness equipped by humans. Love is not destined to nurture here in this realm, just the unbalanced strife winning every brawl.
I wanted to weep but the door lock can't be fully shut. I'm afraid they'll going to find me here.
The door shut and footsteps reverberate the room. Seems like I have a bit of a company.
I was about to get my feet on the toilet seat when the door of the cubicle was unclosed. To my surprise, an elderly woman from before welcomed me. Wrinkly and a hunchback yet strong for her age. "Child, why are you eating here?"
She's with a comforting aura I didn't quite sense from anyone while here.
Her eyes are nearly blocked by her wrinkled skin due to old age but she looked at me with such tender. She lends me her hand and reaches for my tray. "Here, let me help you." But my mind is still Humans are Immoral. I should start building my walls. I got up and take the lunch tray back from her. Opened the room and leave.
I think I have attachment issues now from staying on this land for so long.

The facility is surrounded by trees that bear flowers alone. If it transformed into a guy, it'll be having a lot of obvious bald spots. They can have their gathering or something. Seems hilarious.
I'm lying on the ground feeling the whisper of air. Tranquility is with me while little twerps' playtime is disrupting mine. I ignored them and just go over my business. Even when my eyes are closed, I can still feel the heat and radiant from the sunrays. Alternating from shine and blues. Then, it got too dark? My eyes widen as it freaked out when that second pervert is there standing in front of me.
I backed off.
Then, the ladies from before as well and that old granny as well. Is this a reunion? If not? Thank you, because I don't wanna reunite with them.
"Are you going to handcuff me and torture me so much?" I asked. As I'm all hands down to what they will do to me while clenching my fist. "We apologize for causing you distress."
It's like angels are on a harmonious choir except they are not singing but it sounds glorious.
"Lady, we deeply apologize for what these individuals have done to you. Including Eli," the old granny said. So that perv is called Eli? huh.
"They just don't know how to handle people who's mentally inclined. So we all are sorry"
Granny that hurts a bit. "My sanity is performing well. No issues," I answered.
"Very well," she said.
They all left while the granny stayed with me. She sat near me while I'm still standing. The granny patted the ground, offering me a seat beside her.
She stared upwards, in the sky. I glanced at her while we both are feeling serenity. I can see her eyes.
"Those people are kind. Child, forgive them because they seem to be overwhelmed," she said while her looks are still in the sky.
"Humans are all walking sins. They thirst for sins instead of repenting for it." I averted my eyes and hands grasping each other while my head is tilted downward. "They didn't just cause me distress when I gave them my life and honor. They all act so highly, I should've acted more highly."
"Child, humans are bound to create sins. Mild or worse, we all did--" Certainly not me.
"But not all the time it's their first choice. Some are pushed thoroughly to the edge. Situation did. People I've met told me I'm a kind person but I'm not. No one is kind yet no one is evil. I've done terrible things in life that as of now, I'm still repenting on it," she told, she blinks several times as if trying to stop the tears.
"Terrible acts..." she paused but her thoughts seemed to stop her.
"Granny, you don't have to continue. It's fine," the Humans are Immoral foreplay crushed when I heard her every word but I'm still not gullible enough. "Granny, what is your name? I'll pray for my father to give you front row when you got there."
She lightly smacked my shoulders. "Young child, what're you talking about? But, I'm Teodora. Young child, call me mama Teo. How about you?" she asked, wearing a genuine smile. "What's your name, hmm?"
"I'm Mayari. That goddess of the moon." I pointed at the moon visible on this day. "Before..." I sighed. People like her won't believe me. Wise people are often those in old age. Pro--
"So you are the moon?" She interrupted. "Well, before, yes. I am. But I'm no longer the goddess," I explained.
"I prayed for you just like what my mother taught me. But, I'm not familiar with the name Mayari."
"I became a piece of old news already so it doesn't matter. Well, it's a thousand years gap. But it's still fresh in my mind." Explaining to her the trauma I've endured. The tightness from my chest lightens and relieves me.
"Don't worry, child. You can open up to me."
"Well, it's ironic to name me a child when I'm much older than you but I accept it."
She embraced me warmly. My worries flew along with the August wind. Hoping it'll reach my father.
"...ma Teo! Mama Teo!" Someone is calling her from afar.
"Child, Mayari dear, I'll have to leave you sooner. But it's a great talk. Thank you for opening up." She stood up and rubbed her clothing to take off the dirt.
"Head there soon before the sunset, okay?"
I smiled. "I will, mama." I can feel the genuineness I'm wearing. I'll surely pray that father shall welcome her with anything she desires.
Bathala, my father, I hope you are watching me up there. I'll do my best in my remaining days here on land.
