After being forced to try on many different outfits at different locations, Fenrir and Hyre were finally done and found what they needed, with Estella insisting on paying.
With a little time before dinner, they decided to wander a little bit with no specific destination in mind, letting Leila explore and run around childishly, following after her.
"The size of the capital is quite large, how big will the first city be?" Fenrir asked as they made their way around. They'd been walking all over the place since the afternoon, and it seemed there was still more to explore.
Humming, Estella pondered. "I'd like for the first one to be near my estate, and closest to the trading port. In actuality, I'd like to make it as two towns under one name." She explained, with Hyre joining in as well.
"Do you intend to combine a port town with the town near your estate?" He asked, quickly catching on. Nodding, she began writing scribbles in the air as a visual.
She pointed at the top for the border of her territory, and showed the water surrounding it over it. "We haven't marked it out on a map, but I imagine my estate to be here, with the trading port about here." She explained as she circled an area in the air next to her estate.
"With my trading port location here, I want to widen it to even include houses on the shallow parts of the sea. From there I'll make it inwards and surround the front of my estate, though from a bit of a distance my estate will overlook the town." She explained, giving a rough idea of where she wanted it.
She remembered at one point about Bora Bora, and how she desperately wanted to go but never did. Perhaps she could make a hotel on water by the sea port, but that was the future.
"How many houses will you start off with? How will you even get people to live there?" Hyre asked, unsure if many people even wished to live in a place of snow. Shaking his head, Fenrir chimed in.
"My lady is definitely going to have all the people wanting to live in her town, because it's the most unique town yet. Not only that, but it'll have the freshest fruits and is the best for merchants, it'll also be a place of diversity for all races, who wouldn't want to live there?" He bragged as if it Estella didn't just explained all this to him within the past three days.
Furrowing his brows, Hyre asked about the diversity, and what exactly unique meant. "You know how races other than humans exist? I want us to co-exist in my territory, rather than have a few. I want my town to be a place anyone and everyone can live in." She started, thinking of how thick her book of races were, and how fun it'd be to see pretty fantasy creatures.
"Secondly, my territory will be the greatest attraction in Aeziran. I will have the biggest sea trading port, the best knights, a place for all people, seaside inns, and things exclusive to my territory, such as our beast-animals and foods." She smiled at her own ideas, maybe the seaside inns won't be a hit since it's just snow, but she could try, everyone loves the sea views.
It was all confusing to Hyre, who thought she was a little bit crazy as well. "Exclusive beast-animals and foods?" He asked, curious about that the most.
It took her a long time to realise, but she did have other universe knowledge that was good for something. Although she wasn't a grade-a chef, she was certainly going to do something about the food this world has by creating a cookbook, something she hadn't seen before.
"I'm going to create a book for cooking, and it will only sold in my territory. It will contain information about how to make amazing food, elaborate ones, and where to find them. Of course, they will also centre around our local cuisine." She gently stroked her chin as she thought about how much time it'd take at first.
"It may take a few months to a year to complete the first edition, but I plan to breed and raise wild beasts only found in the north. Cows produce milk, pigs give meat, what will these beasts give? What do they taste like? Do different variants have different tastes? Can I breed them to create a certain stronger beast? Could I crossbreed two different beasts?" She gave a long list of questions they couldn't answer, but wanted to know as well.
"Of course if you two would, I would like your help. Since we'll be exploring, we need to hunt for food. Help me write down what you see and taste, for future reference." She gave the two a task and they nodded, agreeing without a second thought due to her confidence.
Pausing, Estella closed her eyes and began to think for a minute. This wasn't enough, she wanted to do more with the beasts rather than just raise them as food in her territory.
"I want to make them pets as well." She broke the silence as Hyre and Fenrir stared at her confused. She repeated, making them even more confused.
Sighing, she put a hand on her hip. "If elves can live with demon owls, I can have a seven headed sea snake for a pet. The people should also be able to have their own pets, since normal animals won't survive in the north." She declared, before walking off again with Fenrir laughing while they caught up to Leila.
"How do you intend to raise a wild beast as a pet?" Hyre asked concerned for her mental state. Perhaps she wasn't all there like he thought she was. Or perhaps she was thinking too far ahead of him, something he couldn't comprehend.
Humming, she didn't actually think about it, just that she wanted to pet it. "Some could be rideable like a horse? Then train it like a horse, starting while it's a child." She suggested.
"Then for other beasts it's the same. Start by making the young ones docile and their offspring docile." She was proud, they did that with wolves or something, right? She was probably wrong, but it made her happy with the thought.
Jokingly, Estella turned to Hyre and Leila. "Maybe I'll give both of you beasts for your social debut presents. There's probably some beast that resembles a bunny for Leila." She suggested.
Even Leila chimed in happily, "Yes! Bunny beast!" Without actually knowing what it was, putting a soft smile on Hyre's face. Maybe staying with Estella for a month would be a little interesting.
"We could also gift exclusive fashion and jewelry?" Fenrir suggested out of the blue, making Estrella tilt her head.
Pointing at the people around, he insulted their clothes and explained. "You just explained and you still don't get it? Sheep produce wool, and our neighbouring countries have certain mines." He said causing her to let out a small ooh.
In a way, Fenrir was a genius for reminding her other things existed in the moment, but she wouldn't tell him that. "It sounds thoroughly planned out." Hyre commented, making Fenrir feel proud.
Meanwhile with Estella, she had the complete opposite thought. She was making some things up as she went, and thought about plain general ideas. All she really focused on was the harem. All of this was for the sake of her harem.
As they somehow reached the restaurant they decided on from the start, they made their ways in being the first of two groups to return, allowing them to converse some more.
Fenrir seated next to Estella, with Leila across from him and next to Hyre, allowing them to easily make small talk before the other group came, bags full of clothes and plenty of accessories as well.
Taking a seat across from Estella he began to talk about the accessories he bought for her, making them all deadpan a little. "Of course he bought accessories for me…" she mentally sighed as she listened to him rant.
He began to show them off and compliment her, the one thing Fenrir could agree on as her group also joined in commenting on how it'd look on her, making Ivonne slightly jealous she didn't see them dressed up.
Guess she'd have to wait to tell their group of her town's plans, or even have a little bit of peaceful conversation.
