Katherine and Charles spent their first hour at the beach house playing with their new puppy. He had gotten Blue so many toys and treats that she stayed busy and entertained, even when her humans weren't paying attention to her.
"So now that the secret is out, this is why I stayed behind last week when you went back to Helios. I went to pick up Blue and I did doggy training with her every day. As I'm sure you've noticed, she's just as sassy and independent as you, so she kept me busy," Charles explained to Katherine with a laugh.
"You have two strong women in your life now," Katherine replied with her own laugh.
"I wouldn't have it any other way," he said as he pet Blue.
Blue had played a lot so she walked over to her bed and curled right into the middle of it to take a nap. She was so small compared to it that she looked like a toy herself.
"Looks like mom and dad get a break now," Katherine said as she went to stand up.
