Charles grabbed Katherine's hand and the pair made their way out of the ballroom. The guards let them walk a little bit of distance before they followed them.
When Charles went to round the corner that would lead to Katherine's room, she pulled him back and said, "No, this way."
A confused look passed over his face as she led him the other way, but she didn't want to tell him just yet what she had done for him. They made it to a room that had a guard outside of it, and when he saw the King and Queen, he inspected the inside of the room and let them know when it was clear.
"There are cameras pointed at the door, correct?" Katherine asked the guard as a bewildered Charles stood next to her. When the guard confirmed, she told him, "Then you don't have to worry about waiting outside as long as someone is watching the video feed to make sure we're safe."
"Yes, Your Majesty," the guard said with a bow.
