Fabio and Paulo arrived at the hotel and went to the entrance gate of the hotel. At the entrance gate, the guard and the doormen along with the attendant stopped both Fabio and Paulo and asked.
"Dear gentlemen may I know your name, please."
Fabio told them their names later the doormen asked.
"Okay! Are you both part of tonight's Parma C.F. team dinner?"
Fabio replied.
"Yes! But why are you asking questions like this? Don't you who we are?"
The guard arrogantly replied.
"No, not at all because Parma C.F. is not a big club at all and I am a Rey del Calcio fan."
Fabio and Paulo were numb after the insult from the guard, they didn't know how to reply to him. There was an awkward silence around, the attendant later came on and asked Fabio to give his car keys to him so that he could park his car. Fabio gave his car keys to the attendant later the guard allowed both of them to enter and asked the doormen to open the door for them.
Fabio and Paulo before going inside gave an intense look at the guard and the guard did the same. Paulo and Fabio entered the hotel and Paulo said.
"Amigo! That guard was such a dork he was behaving like he was playing for Rey del Calcio."
Fabio replied.
"These fans are more arrogant than the players themselves, just ignore them and since you are a player now you have to get used to it don't ruin your mood because of him."
Paulo was listening to Fabio but he was also looking around and seeing the luxury hotel for the first time in his life. Paulo was completely amazed by the aura of the hotel. Since Paulo was experiencing this for the first time in his life he was looking at everything and paying very close attention to every single detail inside the hotel. He first looked at the waiters and attendants well well-dressed in such a manner that they were nothing less than rich people. Then he shifted his focus to the walls of the hotel, the finishing of the walls of the hotel was so clear that the walls looked like glass. After that, his attention was caught by the huge sparkling chandelier hanging above.
The chandelier was sparkling like golden stars and Paulo was not taking his sight off the chandelier. He was walking slowly and constantly looking at the chandelier when suddenly he got struck by the waiter who holding a tray of glasses filled with water. The tray fell, all the glasses were on the floor and the water was spilt all over the floor. The waiter was very angry after the incident Paulo apologised to the waiter later the waiter bent down to pick up those glasses, Paulo also bent down to help the waiter pick up those glasses.
The waiter was very angry at him he was about to confront him but the moment looked up he was stunned after he saw Paulo and his anger went away the moment when he saw Paulo. Paulo put the glasses back into the tray and handed them over to the waiter. The waiter was speechless while Paulo apologised again for not paying attention. The waiter later asked.
"Are you Paulo Romani?"
Paulo was a little bit surprised that the waiter knew his name. Paulo humbly replied.
"Yes! My name is Paulo Romani but how do you know my name?"
The waiter with excitement replied.
"Today I saw you playing for Parma C.F. You were the one who scored the winning free kick am I right?"
Paulo humbly replied.
"Yes! You are right it was me."
The waiter was full of excitement and nervousness, he expressed how great he was feeling.
"Oh my god! Sir, I can't believe you are standing right in front of me, you know I am a huge Parma C.F. supporter. Today I thought that we were going to be relegated but you saved us today from being relegated I don't I can describe to you how thankful I am but thank you so much for saving us today."
Paulo was full of happiness after hearing the praise from the waiter. Paulo humbly asked him not to say thank you to him.
"Please don't say thank you, I am also a huge Parma C.F. fan like you and it is my pleasure that I bring happiness to you."
The waiter was amazed by Paulo's humble attitude and later he asked for his autograph but Paulo.
"I am sorry but I do not have a pen to give you an autograph."
Luckily the waiter had the pen he said.
"Don't worry I have the pen. You don't have to be concerned about it."
The waiter pulled out a pen from his pocket and handed it over to Paulo. Paulo at the moment was very proud but also nervous because it was the very first time that something was happening like this in his life. He never experienced being famous instead he always liked being a normal person. Paulo was holding the pen but was confused about where to give his autograph so asked the waiter directly.
"My dear friend where I can sign my autograph for you?"
The waiter later picked up a paper napkin from the napkin holder in his tray and asked.
"Sir! You can sign your autograph on this paper napkin."
Paulo was proudly signing the autograph on the napkin for the waiter while Fabio moved so far ahead that he never paid attention to Paulo was not alongside him. Fabio took a look and finally realized that Paulo was not with him. He looked around in search of Paulo and later he saw Paulo signing the autograph for a waiter. Fabio was surprised to see Paulo signing an autograph for someone, he just played one match and now he was so famous within a few hours that was something very surprising for Fabio.
Fabio went back to Paulo and jested.
"So you have now become a famous person?"
Paulo smiled and said.
"No! At all my friend. The man said he had seen me today scoring the winning free kick and asked me to sign an autograph for him."
The waiter was amazed to see Fabio in front of him he said.
"Fabio! Fabio Mancini! Oh my god! It is the luckiest day of my life seeing the players of my favourite team I am speechless, Sir can you also give me your autograph on this napkin?"
The waiter asked Fabio for his autograph and Fabio agreed to give his autograph. Fabio gave his autograph on the same napkin on which Paulo gave his autograph. The waiter after getting the napkin which was signed by both Fabio and Paulo, this humble gesture made that waiter's day. Fabio later asked.
"Gentlemen! If you are done can we go, please? We are getting late for dinner with our teammates."
The waiter happily agreed to his request and before leaving he shook their hands and said thank you again for one last time. Paulo was really happy after he saw the waiter full of happiness and showed everyone the napkin on which they had signed their autographs. Fabio later asked Paulo.
"Paulo c'mon we are already late let's go."
Paulo agreed and both left the place but still, Paulo was constantly looking at the waiter who was showing the napkin to others.
