Lilith came back to her room after training with General Zuko. Her sister told her that she accepted her proposal while they were going to their rooms and send maids for 3 days on Mid guard to start the work. She embraced her but before they could continue to talk , they were interrupted by a guard of Old Madam Feng. He bowed to them.
" Rise"
" Miss, Old Madam said everyone will have to be present in throne room. A guard would be ther to escort you."
They both nodded and went to their ways.
Lilith and Liliana both wore black gowns. Today, will be the first time the princess of House Valyria will be shown in front of the Mid guardians. Only some powerful artists who will share this meeting to down on land. This will be live and many people would be watching them.
It is a ritual that pure blood princesses have to wear dark clothes and those who are half blood will wear light clothes. But to shame us Ivy and Crystal send us light colored clothes. Which will not only shame us but as in last lifetime Old Madam would confide them in their rooms for three months due to which we will not be able to win the ceremony. They wanted to kill two arrows with one stone.
Lilith and Liliana ready together as all of Liliana maids were send. They both wore black dress which make their jade like skin look like snow.
They could not help but smirk at each other imagining their reaction. They both went out of the their room where both generals were there. They could not help but frown in confusion as they were told a guard would escort them.
" Yeona wanted you both to go with us."
They both looked at General Yeona who was hiding her face in embarrassment.
" No, i-it's not like that. Your parents wanted us to do so."
They both just nodded to save General Yeona from more embarrassment.
They both stood beside both generals as General Yeona hook her hands with General Zuko while blushing. Before they could walk, Zuko stopped them.
" Here" He handed them both masks " Wear these."
Both masks were same, pure black on which there was golden design. It covered their whole face except lips.
Before they entered one could hear the guard saying.
" Now entering the throne room are honorable Generals of Khal and Khaleesi with Crown Princess and Next General of House Valyria."
They 4 entered the hall where everyone was present. General Yeona and Zuko sat on their seats which were on the right and left side of thrones. Lilith and Liliana sat on their throne. 2nd and 3rd household were sitting on the smaller throne. Many people were there.
Old Master Zhi was the on who was standing in the middle to greet everyone. He was quite powerful and was master of 2nd and 3rd household. As 1st household do not tell anyone who was the one who teaches them, thus all the responsibility to greet comes in his hands when Khla and Khaleesi are not present.
" Firstly, I Old Master Zhi would like to welcome all guests present here. Today, we are here to announce the start of Ascian ceremony. Now, I would like to ask crown princess to come here and tell us about the ceremony."
Lilith knew this would happen. This was initially done by generals but how can 2nd and 3rd household leave this opportunity to shame us.
Lilith stood up and went in middle of the throne room and spoke in clear and powerful voice.
" Greetings everyone. Today, I have been provided with the opportunity to greet you all and tell you about Ascian ceremony as mother and father were called by Imperial family of Xanthia for some matters. Ascian ceremony is started eons ago by House Valyria and House Winter. You all might think that house Valyria and house winter are tied together with marriage of my mother and father. But it is not true. Both houses has been friend for many eons. Before this ceremony was started dragons were provided to every born in which most of them could not control a dragon which lead to destruction of cities or some turned evil. Thus, this ceremony was started in which the successor would face many challenges which would be watched by dragons and if someone piqued interest of dragons then the dragon would choose the person which will end the challenges for the person. But one challenge still would be left, that was created by House winter whose main element was ice. In this many wolves would chose the individual instead of dragons. It is not rare as wolves as there are 2 type of wolves - normal wolves whose power is weak and 2nd is red wolf whose power's extent is not known. Wolves were chosen because as House winter says 'When winter comes, you will hear no lion roar, no stags grazing the fields, no roses growing in meadows, no snakes in sand and no trouts swimming in river. The krackens will freeze where they swim, the flayed men will rot and wither and not even dragon breath will warm you in halls. Only the wolves howl in night.'
The preparation of the ceremony starts from today. No successor of one household is allowed to meet any other successor of other household. When this meeting would end, we all successors will go separate ways for 3 months. I only know this much about Ascian ceremony. Thus, I would like General Zuko to tell us all rules."
All people present there and all citizens listening to this were gobsmacked. They were impressed by her.
Ivy and Crystal gnashed their teeth as they saw Lilith and Liliana wearing another dress instead of the dress given by them but calmed their hearts down as they heard Old Master Zhi calling Lilith to address the people. They were sure she would surely embarrass herself. But what happened was like thunder from clears sky which make them wish to kill her.
General Zuko told them all left rules. Both generals were also impressed by her. But come into their senses very fast.
" I, General Zuko do not have much to say as almost everything was explained by crown princess. But one rule left is that all successors are allowed to have a professor. I hope every successor do a good job in the ceremony. Now, I would like to end the meeting. As the ceremony is started 1st household successor will go out first then 2nd and lastly 3rd household's successors."
Me and Liliana went out first. This was where our new life of revenge started.
