As Lilith followed Ah Cy to the court, she met Liliana on her way. She was followed by Zephyr, Melian and Asteria- her personal handmaidens. They both shared a hug and then decided to go to court together. Lilith could see Liliana being nervous and it was natural to be so, as she was the one who always thought family is always and forever and decided to be close with their cousins but then was backstabbed by them. Lilith held Liliana's hand and gave it a light squeeze to tell her she is here for her no matter what. Liliana sent her a grateful smile as she returned the smile. This conversation did not miss Ah Cy 's eyes.
Ah Cy thought if these two miss are close, then it would be more difficult to use them. This made her freak out and thought, this is an important matter, which should be told to Old Madam Feng. Soon, they entered the court and saw everyone from 2nd and 3rd household and some ministers present there. Old Madam was sitting on a fancy chair.
No one noticed their presence until Ah Cy reminded them. When all of them looked at the door, they were shocked by their appearance. With Liliana dressed in black and Lilith in white, they both looked similar yet so different. Ivy saw this and became green with envy and tried to villainize them.
" Why is the 2nd and 3rd younger sister (they both came 2nd and 3rd in the ranks of granddaughters) so late. Grand mother was going to dismiss the meeting."
Lilith mockingly laughed in her heart, as she knew that Ivy was trying to fish in troubled waters. She looked at her sister and saw amusement shining in her eyes and knew Liliana was going to handle the situation. She just needs to watch the show.
" Most likely our body is still weak and we were late as we felt dizzy after waking few steps and thus took break for a while."
The people in the meeting were silent.
Liliana wanted to say that they purposely came late, so she was not afraid to point out that Old Madam took advantage of her being old and did not care about her grand-daughters health.
After a while, Aunt Juniper" I see that your body is extremely weak. The physician has been invited two times in the past few days. It is fortunate that it is not a problem now."

She was fascinated by him and tried to harm herself to gain attention, as she was the next dragon queen. He also acted as a prince charming in front of her, which made her fall for him harder yet in the end, after marrying her and gaining the control of dragon through her, he used her in winning many wars and she foolishly did everything he said to gain his love. Even after that, in the end, he played a major role in her killing. At that time, he even admitted that he was in love with her cousin Crystal and was the one who abducted her sister.
Hearing his name made her scrunch her nose in disgust.
" Grandmother, really think so lowly of me. Why would I harm my spirit root just to get the attention of Prince Abnus."
Suddenly, Old Madam Feng shouted," You unfilial Grand daughter, get down on your knees."
Lilith did not move an inch, even after hearing Old Madam 's words.
Everyone present there was shocked because even though Khal Phelan is not Old Madam's own son, even then he treats her with utmost respect. Thus, it is normal for his daughters to pay respect to Old Madam and ignoring Old Madam Feng's command is extremely disrespectful.
" Can Old madam Feng tell me what my fault is before punishing me?"
Hearing this made Old madam Feng started shouting curses, which strained her throat and that led to coughing. Lumi ran up to Old Madam Feng and helped her to gain her breath.
Lumi looked at Lilith disdainfully and said, "3rd lady, are you crazy? Who taught you to go against your elders."
Lilith looked at her aunt Lumi.
Her 2nd aunt Lumi, was extremely beautiful and intelligent. She helped her husband in Imperial court matters and has the authority of the household, which was the reason many other noble ladies wanted to befriend with her. Old madam Feng also liked her as she allowed Old Madam to place concubines in her inner courtyard, unlike her 3rd aunt Juniper, who was very possessive over her husband Ehecatl and never allowed any concubine to enter inner courtyard.
As much as she is beautiful, she is equally cunning. Most of the expensive items from the rewards earned by her parents from the wars were all swallowed by her.

Lilith internally scoffed in her heart. Crystal loved Prince Abnus, yet she still made her fall in love with Prince Abnus to gain control over dragons in future.
Lilith did not reply Crystal and looked at her in wonder.
Old Madam Feng just had enough of this drama and said while seething in rage," You stupid thing just to gain attention and love of Prince Abnus, you tried to destroy your spirit root which made you unconscious in the room where Prince Abnus was coming to meet your father."
Lilith could not help but say," To make him fall in love with me?"
