I open my eyes with the utmost difficulty then sit down, stretch my body and fix the half white half gray wall. I don't know I somewhat do this almost every single morning for minutes without thinking about nothing. it's like a weird wake up routine.
But then I get up and go do my stuff. So of course today's not an exception.
when I'm entirely done I go downstairs, take breakfast with my parents and we all leave for work. You may think that at 24 years old, it's lame to live with your parents but I don't. Actually I think it's pretty cool since I have a good relationship with them and beside if I took an apartment to live by my self my father would probably harass me with "are you fine?" ,"how is it there?" and even hire some bodyguards or something, I'm not saying it's bad that my father worries so much in fact I find it cute but I just want to stay with them for as long as I can.
Me and my dad take the same car today because for once I am going to work really early, my mom take her own to go to hers.
During the time we were inside the car we talked about pretty much everything and he told me how much the contract with that new associate is really important, how much he need me to be very professional on this and how he counts on me to really take care of his pride and joy beside his family. I know he's not doing that to pressure me but sometimes I feel like it and since I am an only child, it's me who inherited the company and therefore have to take care of it. Well I admit it's not that stressful because I'm a business school graduate but still.
After several minutes we arrived at the huge building which is written on top with big letters " M&K's company ". M stands for Mike and K for Katherine which are my parents names.
We enter by the front door and walk straight to the private elevator while receiving greetings and giving it back. We then go right to the fifteen floor where our offices are.
Finally walking through my office, I head straight to my desk and immediately start opening my computer and beginning to work. Seconds later there's some knocks on the door so I give permission to enter and a quite tall women with black hair, blue eyes and really white skin enter. Her name's Marie, she is my secretary and my friend since I came here eight months ago. She really is not the " clingy and gold digger secretary " type you see on now days stories even without having a men as a boss. Instead she is really kind hearted and caring. I also consider her as my older sister because of the two years age gap.
She comes right to my desk and put some documents on it.
Marie:- Hi, miss Dav.. um, Kary how are you doing today?
Kary:- Hey, fine thanks and you?
Marie:- Same thanks. So about the documents you demanded me, there they are, nothing's left.
Kary:- Thank you I really need this documents to convince that associate
Marie:- Yes, and ah the meeting is for 10 am.
Kary:- Okay, good.
Marie:- well then I'm going to head back now Kary.
I get her a light nodding and like that she disappeared. I immediately turn back to work knowing that today schedule is full and that in just few hours I will have to deal with Mister Leon, the CEO of "Leon's" , yeah I know he didn't search that much for a name but that men is known to be very what can I say perfectionist, strict and even rude and even though I do not believe in rumors until I see it myself if even my dad had said that it's something.
Oh God! I can already tell that this day is going to be hard.

Well, it's almost 10 am which means time to go for the meeting !
I stand up from my chair and head to the meeting room while once again receiving and giving greetings. By the time I step in it, there's already two men and a women so I straightened up my clothes and take a sit. Not even one minute after another men enter the room and sits right in front of me. By just looking at him, I already know he is the famous Leon Steven. He is intimidating and has some sort of aura around or maybe I'm just watching way too much anime.
To not lose face, I decide to look serious and look intimidating too because I also I'm a Goddamn businesswoman and start the meeting.
