Sharen walked up to her, ignoring her slightly deep gaze. Being under the scrutiny of those dull eyes made him feel a bit uncomfortable. "Zograt," he called out, standing before her but not very close. Narene's paranoia had rubbed off on him. "We need to talk."
"Yes…" she said, hesitating and for a moment Sharen felt she was going to say 'master'. He sighed inwardly. Perhaps he'd grown accustomed to people revering him and bowing to him that he'd created an image of a master for himself.
"You said you wanted my help," he said, observing her. Her deep red robes fluttered in the air, her tightly knit lips pulled tout. Sharen wondered how they were able to speak without their lips moving. "Why is that?"
