(POV Lin Feng)
The Hua Sect dispatched inner disciples to a tomb of unspeakable evil. The mortal nearby spoke of being possessed and killing one another.
Flying towards the tomb in an aircraft, the man on the ship's bow looked out into the sky.
"Brother Feng, why do you wear such a long face?"
"You know why," answered Lin Feng.
"It was only the inner sect tournament. Everyone is still faithful to you," replied the man.
"I don't understand how the eight strikes of Hua Sect lost to that plant freak. Long Shu, my faithful brother, I think I might need to give him the sect's medallion."
Lin Feng held up a gold medallion with the Hua Sect emblem. This symbol signified who the next sect leader would be.
"Brother Feng, No. Not to that man."
"Brother Shu, I know the Long family wants their revenge. We will find out the truth one day."
They rode on the ship until they arrived at the demonic cult's tomb. It was at the base of the Tri-frost mountains north of the Drax kingdom.
Lin Feng and Long Shu got off the ship. They entered the tomb.
Due to all the mortals entering the tomb, all the traps were triggered already. The two quickly made their way to a final room.
The tomb was made of black brick and runes carved all over. At the center of the room was a slate coffin. When Lin Feng looked inside, it was empty.
"I think whatever it was, it is gone."
Long Shu walked up and was bummed. "Here, I thought we would get to fight some demon."
Lin Feng had a worried look, but since there was nothing here.
He looked around at the runes and wished he had studied more in the Hua Sect library. If he did, then maybe he could read these symbols. Touching the slate coffin, he could feel an ominous Qi, but it was no longer here.
"Alright, Brother Shu, let us head back."
The two disciples got back into their craft. They flew back to the sect empty handed.
