I remember the pain. I remember the red flowers that spill out of me. The torture I was suffering at the time was so great, that I have outbursts from time to time. I attack and bite, just to get away, knowing that they will hurt me more. It was horrible.
That last day with them was when my life changed. They beat me, torture me, until I couldn't breath and blood pour out from my body like falls in the summer. My sight was fading. At that moment, I hear fire. My body heats up from the uproar, and I hear my captors screaming and yelling. The house broke down and crumbled to ashes. I then felt my torn body being raised gently and wrapped up. I hear tears.
"M-master....Oh, my master....*sobs*"
Master? Who is master?
I couldn't talk because of the pain and burning lungs. I could only listen.
"I can't take you to the Mistress like this, not even the Dark Witch. I-I know she will be devastated."
There was sobbing for a moment. I then felt myself being hugged tighter.
"I'll take you to the Rose Ophra. The Lady there will be kind to you. You'll be safe there."
I then felt myself being lifted up. Wind surrounded us. I can only assume that she is flying.
After sleeping for a while, I heard voices again.
"Will he be safe here, My Lady?"
"Y-yes. I will bring the medics. A-are you sure you're not taking him back afterwards?"
"I'm sure. He is not....ready to come back home. He just need time .... to heal..."
"I.... understand..."
I then felt a warm hand on my forehead.
"Goodbye Master. I'll see you soon. Everyone will be happy to have you back, but until then....Farewell...."
The warm hand left me and the sound of the door closing echoed in my ears.
Currently, I still don't know who that voice was.
The only thing I remembered is the smell of sulfur from her.
That time, I understand what happened at that horrendous place.
She saved me.
By burning the house down and everybody in it.
