Carseain and Sky were once again sitting in silence for a while.
Sky: 'God, this situation is exactly what I wanted to avoid! Who would have thought that the Shivrans wouldn't let him sleep even when he has to start travelling back to the academy tomorrow?'
He sighed.
Carseain put some wood into the fire while Sky was chugging down some alcohol to relieve his stress. Carseain didn't drink because someone had to stay sober and be on the lookout. Besides, he was having Shadows come over with reports every once in a while.
"So Sky, do you have no intentions of telling me what part of our conversation made you remember a joke that was worth laughing at?"
Sky flinched.
"Well.... Um... That..."
Sky was avoiding the question while trying to drink the whole bottle. Carseain sighed.
"Are you feeling awkward around me because you're Judith's cousin?"
'After all, he knows that I like Judith.'
