AFTER SOME YEARS
IN A BEAUTIFUL HOME
It was evening time when sun was setting off in the west and a man could be seen … completely unaware of his surroundings , was sitting in the lawn and completely engrossed in his work … In one hand grabbing a sketch pencil with which he was sketching a rough layout of the final presentation he needed to present in front of the Chinese delegates … on the other side there was a cup of hot coffee which he was sipping time to time
The person was very much engrossed in his work when he heard car parking sound in the house … a smile came on the person's lips when he heard the sound … then he closed all the files on which he was working because of knowing the new comer very well … he knew well that he could not anymore continue his work as the new comer would not allow him to work at all … he was busy in waiting for the person with a smile after placing the files aside …

NEW COMER : Good morning dad … you didn't miss me na much ?
Dad ( smiles placing hand on his cheek and kissing on the temple ) : Is there any reason to miss you ? ( teasing him ) Jack you just went to gym in the afternoon , its not even three hours since you left
JACK : ( coming in front of him while holding a stray cat in his arms ) What dad you don't know anything … ( while sitting ) when anyone asks you missed me or not you have to answer yes I missed you very much …
Dad laughed and said : Okay okay I will remember this from next time
JACK ( patting the cat ) : So then say it quickly
DAD : ( stressing on every word ) Yes I did miss my son veryyy much …
ARYAN : ( laughed ) Now this sounds better Dad
His dad smiled and looking to his son : Jack how many times I have told you to always take a shower first after coming back from gym ?
JACK : ( tiredly ) Dad I am going wait na ( and then taking the coffee cup from his dad , and taking a sip ) dad how can you have sugar free coffee ? it tastes so much bitter … ( making faces )
He felt that his dad was staring on him with a fixed gaze
JACK : What happened dad ? why are you staring at me like that ?
DAD : ( smiles ) Seeing world's most handsome and talented boy sitting in front of me
JACK ( raising his collar ) Thank you thank you dad … if you want to take autograph then take it now only … now I have time afterwards if I don't get time to give it then don't blame me saying that son does not listen to his father only … ( laughingly )
DAD ( laughing ) Who told you that I am talking about you ?? Just turn around and see about whom I am talking …

DAD : ( hiding his smile ) Yesterday only I met Miss Smith … she was telling that " You don't look like Jack's father in any angle , you look so young … " she even gave me offer to search for a suitable bride for me …
JACK ( in casual tone ) : Its okay this offer of her is in stand by from a long time dad … ( and then in serious tone ) I just don't understand that why she always forget that you didn't even gave Mumma's place to anyone when you needed someone extreme badly …
His dad looked at the face of his son for a few minutes silently and then jerking his head he said : Achha leave about me tell about yourself ( in smile ) tell me one thing my cute son needs what type of life partner ?
JACK : ( in smile ) Common Dad this choice I gave to you na ? when and with whom you will tell I will get marry with the one , promise …
DAD ( smiled broadly ) : I know my prince … achha what about your project ? when the results will come of those ?
JACK ( taking sigh ) : Dad you know na that I hate working in group projects ? all because of one all suffers … because of Yen we got late and as a punishment Peter sir gave us a new project and that too related to statistics , and you know na that how much I hate statistics ?
DAD ( in smile ) : So does my son needs any kind of help ?
JACK : ( smiles ) Not yet but it seems that very soon I require your help , you know na besides my dad no one can make me understand the graphs …
DAD : ( bowing down a little and placing hand on his chest ) I am obliged young man …
Jack laughed lightly and mobile ringing sound disturbed their talks and Jack went inside silently seeing dad's phone ringing … he took a deep breath by seeing him moving inside and got very well who was the caller
He smiled and picked up the phone : Hello oldie , how are you all ?
CALLER SMILING : Everything is fine here and everyone here is happy … Jiya to pass time joined a job , and Avni is busy with Puneet now a days , Puneet is having his final exams … so Avni is with him to look after because she can only handle him …
He smiled and asked seriously : You didn't ask about Jack ?
Caller clearing his throat : Yes I was just going to ask only … how is his studies going ?
He teasingly : Why didn't he tell you ?
Caller in tension : How will he tell me ? we didn't talk from such long time …
He sternly : You can't even tell lie so don't try to ( taking pause ) did Puneet told you something to talk about related to Jack ?
After few moments of silence : Why don't you give him permission to come to India ?
