Chapter 37 - Susan, You Really Have Tricks Up Your Sleeve!

"Don't want my eyes anymore?!"

Luke dropped his hands, not daring to make any trouble.

Among them, it was the most difficult to handle the fourth son of the Quin family. He couldn't afford to provoke him.

"Brad, Mayor Olsen's looking for you. He said he has to head back early as he still has something on. He's waiting for you at the lobby!"

Brad nodded slightly. He turned around and looked at the woman behind him.

Without waiting for him to say anything, Susan urged, "Don't let the mayor wait too long. Head back first."

"Alright. You be careful. If there's anything, find the few of them."

Brad carefully instructed her. As he walked past Luke, he glanced at him and ordered, "Take good care of her!"

Luke subconsciously put his heels together, straightened his back, and replied eloquently, "I will definitely complete my mission!"

Brad looked at him as if he was an idiot. Then, he strode out of the back garden.

After returning to the venue, Luke couldn't control his lust. He ignored Brad's orders and went to hook up with small-time celebrities.

Susan stepped into the venue and looked around. She didn't see Brad so she found a quiet corner. With a champagne glass in hand, she looked at the crowded venue. People from the business and political circles were interacting. Celebrities who turned up to celebrate this milestone shuttled through the crowds as well. It was a harmonious sight.

At this time, footsteps slowly approached from behind her. It was followed by a cold and sarcastic voice. "Susan, you really have tricks up your sleeve!"

Holding her champagne glass, Susan turned around and met Felicia's gaze which carried with it a cold smile. She raised her eyebrows indifferently and said, "Why do you say that?"

Felicia's originally elegant face was invaded by anger. She lost the demeanor of a daughter from a rich family and said in an eager tone, "You must have spent quite a bit of effort to play up the fourth son of the Quin family, right?!"

So she was referring to this!

Susan sighed softly. In the bright corner of the venue, her eyes were gloomy and her voice was as soft as water. Her words were filled with sarcasm and laziness. "If you have time to care about me, I suppose you have already controlled the discussions on the Internet?"

"You!"

Felicia's heart hurt. She recalled the slander and verbal abuse she had suffered during this period of time, all of which were attributed to Susan.

The more she thought about it, the more hateful she became and the more she couldn't stand to see Susan's casual attitude.

At this moment, these two women who had outstanding figures and looks were particularly eye-catching among the guests who were moving around.

In particular, Susan's sparkling gown was the focus of everyone's attention no matter where she went.

Felicia had suppressed her anger several times before. It was unknown what she thought of but she suddenly smiled coldly. Her eyes were sinister and ruthless. "Tom no longer wants you, so you're playing up to the Quin family! I hope you can always be so arrogant!"

"I hope so too!" Susan raised her champagne glass to her and smiled lightly.

Felicia was speechless.

Before turning around, Felicia looked at her deeply for a few seconds. Her leaving back view was like a proud peacock.

As she looked at Felicia's back, Susan curved her lips and thought that this was good as well. At least after the hospital recording was exposed, Felicia obviously didn't plan to be pretentious with her anymore.

She was still standing in the corner, feeling bored. She took out her phone to look at the time. She thought of leaving.

Before her thoughts were put into action, a waiter came over with a try. "Hi, Miss Yates. Mr. Quin asked me to hand this over to you!"

"What is it?"

Susan probed suspiciously. She saw that a card was placed on top of the red scarf that covered the tray.

She picked it up to take a look. It was actually a card key for room 3086.

Susan was confused.
