Chapter 35 - Chapter 35: Change!

After seeing that Myah held on for so long and has succeeded in becoming an official Warrior, Mu Suyin heaved a sigh of relief.

It was already late, and by the looks of fatigue on his childish face, she knew that he wouldn't wake up anytime soon.

The night gale whistled, carrying along with a chilly coldness.

"It's raining again..." Feeling the falling rain droplets, Mu Suyin rubbed her fingers and muttered to herself.

Without wasting any more time, she takes the soundly asleep Myah back into their house.

Then, after laying him on the bed, she kindles up an unfinished candle—the flickering red flame dimply lights up the bedroom.

"It's been a long day, and you have done splendidly. Now, have a good rest and recover."

After Mu Suyin cleansed away the blood on Myah's body and changed him into a new set of pajamas, she brushes his hair and planted a kiss on his forehead.

"Goodnight." Saying so, she turned away to leave the room.

However, before Mu Suyin could walk through the door, a sudden change in Myah's body make her frown.

'Huh!?'

Even at a distance away, she could sense the change in Myah's soul sea with her sharp sense. His newly refined spirit energy was being dwindled at a rapid rate.

"This... what's happening? Myah is unconscious, and there is no leakage, so why—" Mu Suyin was puzzled.

The depletion of spirit energy wasn't what worried her.

After all, Myah has already successfully become a Warrior. The depletion of spirit energy could be recovered quite fast through the use of Spirit Stones or meditation.

However, she couldn't understand the reason for this current situation.

It was abnormal!

...

Meanwhile,

An almost translucent figure of little Myah was aimlessly drifting within a black space with seemingly endless little light sparkles.

The usual dream of him living another life didn't appear this time.

Being fully self-aware, Myah could instantly recognize this place, for it was inside his mind where the odd blue-colored crystalline screen was located.

'Ah! The words on it have changed!' As Myah floated closer and closer to the crystalline screen, the little guy was left bewildered.

Even after more than half a year has passed, he still didn't know what the blue-colored crystalline screen signified. However, as this was the first time a change has occurred, it has dramatically piqued his interest and curiosity.

Myah has tried various things, including punching, kicking, and even licking, but it has never changed before.

So why now!?

'Yeeeah!'

Noticing the line indicating his cultivation level, Myah was thrilled and smiled gleefully before performing a victorious pose.

After passing out untimely, the little guy didn't know whether he has successfully breakthrough and become a Warrior or not, but now seeing the information on the blue screen has reassured him.

After all, since the crystalline screen was inside his mind, it couldn't be fake, right? It even has his name, ages, talent, well, that's everything.

While Myah was busy celebrating and dancing weirdly in a state of zero gravity, a new line of words appeared on the screen, which he ignored.

'Ah!?' Once Myah finally noticed the extra lines of words. He was left baffled for a moment.

'What gift? I have a gift?' Feeling clueless yet excited at the same time, Myah pondered deeply. 'But wh—!'

Buzz!

Then, with no warning, the starry space above the blue-colored crystalline screen vibrated before three enormous transparent spheres appeared while radiating hazy white light.

Everything happens so abruptly, which left Myah's eyes widened in surprise.

Soon, his shocked expression quickly changes, and he became fascinated.

'They are so beautiful!'

Although the white light was quite ordinary, they seem extraordinary and magical.

In the first sphere, countless strange pictures were flashing quickly like a speed slideshow.

There was the image of mighty dragons roaring toward the sky; eternal phoenixes rise from the ashes—colossal giants trampled upon the sea and mountains, the vicious black serpent that swallowed the stars to the seemingly fearsome hydras, etc.

Their vivid and almighty images were even better than the one Myah has seen in the storybook long ago, many of which he couldn't even recognize.

In the second sphere, there was a pair of eyes seemingly incomprehensible.

The little guy has only gazed at it for a moment, but he felt as if everything about himself was exposed with nowhere else to hide.

Finally, there was an ethereal and translucent spear within the third light sphere.

Although it looks rather ordinary, the spear gave off a feeling of fearlessness, the unrelenting power which is as steady as an immovable sacred mountain.

According to the saying of his grandma Mu Suyin,

"A woman with a spear is like a walking fortress. Soaring through the Heaven, she roams unhindered."

Such was the only thought that comes to mind when he looks at the seemingly ordinary spear.

...

Perhaps it was his unique trait that has calmed his mind or something else. However, after some time, Myah was finally back to his sense from admiring the spheres' invisible charm and unknown attraction.

Just like that of the sweetest but most vicious aphrodisiac, suppose it was someone else; perhaps they would already lose themself.

Switching his gaze back to the blue-colored crystalline screen, Myah discovered that all the previous words and information disappeared and are substituted with something else.

At that instant, a few simple pieces of knowledge come into Myah's mind.

The little guy was present with three choices to which he could only choose one.

Furthermore, the choice made was irreversible, and the options that he dismissed will disappear.
