Blaze ran like someone was following, him like a shadow was lurking behind him getting closer and closer, an assassin chasing its victim. He didn't know why or how, but his senses were stronger than ever, he could sense even the small sound of the crickets chirping more than 30 miles away from him. He was sweating profusely, as he ran, he had decided to go and talk to Melissa but a sudden urge to go back to the mansion took over him.
He turned back, as something in his head spoke to him, "you need to go back, you need to stop her," the voice sounded in his mind as clear as water, as potent as the strongest poison, even he could hear his footsteps in the muddy ground, the squishing sound was too overwhelming and powerful for him to ignore it.
"Where is your sister Shawn," he asked trough the mind link.
"She is in her room," the beta answered. He sounded awake for the early morning but again Shawn took his role as the beta very seriously.
