How many days had passed? Melissa didn't know. Days where night, as night were days, minutes were hours, seconds were a lifetime but for her it was always the same, she didn't know; nor care about it. Sonya was dead, she was captured. The vampires had won. All the dreams and planning went down the drain, her life was completely wasted. It was better really in her eyes, for her life to end this way. She didn't even remember when the time was, when she felt completely capable of deal with everything that was imposed to her. Because at the end of the day, her life since her conception was an obligation. To kill an entire race, to kill everyone so the vampires can reign, she was a weapon. Everyone was afraid of her. So, at the end of the day, she was expendable, another pawn on Eve's game.
