"I'm not sorry and I won't ever be for this. Frankly, you should have seen this coming so this is your fault. But you have been rather good to me so I can spare you the pain" Inari drew closer, his hand almost on Noah.
"Say good night again" and the energy left him once again.
Noah was, once again, put to sleep. His energy was once again at an all-time low and his body refused to cooperate with him. No matter what he did, he could not make himself move at all.
But at least now he knew that Inari had been behind it all. How had he even thought giving this name to that small, sweet fox kit was a good idea? Had he wanted to re-write this past that bad with better memories?
Or had this name left that deep a connection in his psyche to leave such scars in his mind?
