There was something different about Jess now. Something fundamentally wrong in her moments and her fighting style. The moves she was doing, the way she was bending and attacking, everything was significantly non-human.
Her muscles and joints should have started to protest against those moments and yet she showed no signs of slowing down. Her feet didn't even seem to touch the ground in many instances.
It was a weird experience to see but also an exhilaration to feel around. Her eyes saw a blur and she was not even sure when she was being attacked but her body was parrying those attacks constantly.
The demon in front of the other was as good as dead. The blood was flowing freely now and her brain panicked at the fact. Yet a different part of her enjoyed seeing that blood, being the cause of that blood.
