"Oh, what gave me away? I was sure I was behaving perfectly the whole time" the female voice was getting to Noah now, especially the familiar drawl on the female's lips. He would have never believed that body to be able to make this kind of noise under normal circumstances.
'These are not normal circumstances either' Noah's brain supplied not so helpfully.
"Your whole existence is what gave it away. If you won't leave this body on your own then I'll have to force you to leave it alone" Noah made the threat and his voice suggested that it was not an empty one.
But instead of looking afraid, the body in front of him gave off a big smile. It was a beautiful smile full of joy and wonder, but it was on the wrong face. Jess was not made to smile like that and it just looked wrong on her face.
