"Your majesty, you look to be in a more...agreeable mood than before. Has something good happened?" The noble lady tried to flatter the king as soon as she saw the easy-going smile on the king's face.
She had heard about everything that had happened in the war but she could not really believe it. She had been informed that the king had even ignored Jess at that time which was shocking news indeed.
But she also knew it was about time this would happen since Lady Jess was just a brute alpha playing to pass off as being a lady. Sooner or later the king was bound to lose interest in her for a more proper omega.
She could fill that role for the king but she would have to make him aware of her existence first.
